This is another session of communion and fellowship with our God Almighty as the year is coming to an end. Currently, the world’s situation is full of uncertainties. As individuals, we find ourselves in a situation or scenario which has never been experienced before. There is so much anxiety, disorders and confusion in the society.
Governments and their systems are collapsing, economics are failing, political and social structures and systems are failing, the health and well-being of many are failing, there is insecurity everywhere and many families are breaking apart in the midst of all these crises, difficulty, confusion and set back.
Many are giving up on life, some are committing suicide, while some because of survival have sold out their properties. For us as read cash lover which as been encouraging us for a while now, it is a time to restore our hopes and encourage ourselves in the word of God.
Only the word of God can see us through these peculiar times, only the God can give hope. Through all these trials and crises, the world is facing we must not give on our dream. But how do we know that God is with us at this point in time? How does God reveal His presence among His people in time like this? The word of God says " Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."
Under the New Covenant of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ is the fulfilment of God's promise of divine presence to mankind. Jesus Christ is the embodiment of the divine presence of God among mankind. John further confirms in his epistle that if you have Christ in you, you are guaranteed of the divine presence of God in your journey through life.
When you go through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when thou walketh through the fire, you shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon you. Clearly, God's word gives us an assurance of His divine presence through every storm and trials of life.
Surely, there may be trials and challenges along the way, but God has not left you alone. God is going through that situation with you and if God be for you who can be against you. As we embark on these last quarter of 2021, let us approach God with a mind of expectation of signs and wonders.
As you engage with God with all your mind during this period, God will reveal Himself in your life over that matter. Open your minds to receive fresh revelations from God. Open your minds to receive divine instructions, open your mind to receive directions on the way forward in your life and destiny. It shall be a season to remember for you in Jesus name.
