The statistics number of jobless youth is really alarming and makes me afraid of the future. There are no opportunities for employment. More than 60% of the university graduates haven't been able to find jobs. The Nigeria youth is facing a difficult phase where the country's economic crises is affecting the middle class, this is driving more and more youth to be jobless. The university graduates are facing a hard time finding jobs. This has resulted in huge debt burdens on the youth as well as many suppliers who don't get paid.

Today, we are facing huge challenges in a country full of natural resources and with a strong agriculture sector, but we have resorted to relying on only crude oil more than ever before to support our economy. Crude oil doesn't rely on agricultural resources, we don't refine the crude oil ourselves as nation, we firstly export it to other buy importing it back. All this processes relies heavily on public service institutions, that lack funding due to corruption and the state's absence from the real economy.

The question remains: — What does this country have to offer its young people, who have high levels of education?

Our youth should be working in jobs that harness their potential, not spending their time in starting fights with farmers or burning tires on the streets of Nigeria or other governorates.

I don't believe that only I think this is wrong, but I would need to hear it from those who are in power or from other young people who agree with me. I would love to hear the opinions of others about this issue and how we can change it or improve it.

Youth employment is a big problem in the country. Jobs are scarce. According to the statistics number of jobless youth is really alarming and makes me afraid of the future.

I don't know what to do anymore so I'm asking government and individuals to please help us out.

The government needs to ensure that every young person who needs a job will be given one so in the end, we will not be jobless, looking for jobs and struggling to survive in this country.

But sometimes I feel like giving up. Because things are not happening as fast as I want it to.

But nobody will give you something if you don't ask for it. So, for all the young people out there, don't give up and keep trying because who knows your hard work will pay off one day and hopefully before we get older.

At this rate, nobody will give you anything if you only ask for it, you just have to find a way to get it yourself.

You finished school to get a decent job but didn't accept you because you don't have experience in the particular position. Whews!

Same sentiments. We have the same scenario in our country. It is so difficult to find a job nowadays. Qualifications are too high, and experiences are needed. How could a college graduate earn experience when he/she just finish the school? How I wish they can at least lower the qualifications for the newbie to start working.
