I met a friend yesterday and i was so shocked to see her, she had lost so much weight. I asked her how and she said she has changed her eating habit. She told me that sometimes before spending shs 5m on a pair of jeans, she would spend shs 2m on avocados for a month and eat one avocado everyday because it would help her to reduce weight. Sometimes we are so careful in doing things, but the problem is that we forget some important things.

When you look at the people who are successfully doing business, a lot of them are very young, but what is often not mentioned is that they didn't wait until they were older to start a business. They made mistakes along the way and continued to move forward with what they wanted to do. It is always sad when someone talks about their dreams and then it never comes true because of one mistake or a bad decision they made earlier in life or their careers.

Another wrong step will trigger another wrong step, and this will continue until you will forget the reason why you had taken those wrong steps in first place. This is the concept of karmic debt, which people have to pay back in this lifetime. The concept is gentle, because if for example you take a wrong step in life, you must settle it before you can move forward with peace and happiness, but when you take another wrong step now you are adding up your previous karmic debt to the new debt and maybe this one is much bigger than what you can afford.

Chioma my old friend is a holistic-minded person who really likes to learn from other individuals. It is this natural propensity of hers that landed her in the trouble she's presently in.

Starting from four years ago, when she lost her job as an accountant for a wine importer, Chioma decided to place all her efforts on finding ways of making money. After a failed enterprise in the agro sector, which led to her losing some money, she decided to make use of the skills she acquired in school. She began making those fake tunnel inside walls and ceilings, before finally getting into the business of manufacturing fake anvils.

That was how she established her company called NATURAL MONSTER LTD. The business might have been successful but it didn't last long. It was during this time that Chioma met Funke herself through her friend.

After she discovered that the fake tunnel was what she was best at, she invested a lot in manufacturing them. And one of the tunnels she had in her office was what Funke and her friend stumbled on that fateful day. She remembers telling Funke and her friend about her company and how it had gotten into manufacturing anvils . Funny as it might sound, Funke and her friend were fascinated by the concept.

"After we came out from under the tunnel, Funke called me and said I was brilliant I told her I wasn't interested in the business then but she told me to think about it. She offered tunnels money to start my business. At first, I declined but she persisted and in the end, I accepted it although I wasn't sure about what I was going to do with it. But when she gave me the money, I bought raw materials that I needed and started work on a project which eventually became an anvil," Chioma said.

That's true, we don't need to wait until we're of old age before we can start something lucrative. We should start today and enjoy the rest of our old age
