A Maid becomes a Queen

A rich man had one daughter named Ngozi, who was beautiful, faithful and loyal. Her father was a businessman and the daughter was his only child. The rich man makes sure he provides all his daughter needed for her including a maid that those all the house shores for her. This really made Ngozi lazy and dependent on the maid. They were very loved and respected in the community because the businessman was fair to all and above board in all his dealings.

The wealthy man married an old woman who had been his friend for long and she eventually became the second wife of the man. She had a son for her first husband who was grown up.

The old woman who was not married before thought that because she lived with a man, she could be as strong as her late husband’s first wife so she began to interfere with everything in the house because she thought it was not too big for her. She even called herself the queen of the house.

The marriage of Ngozi’s father and his second wife did not last for long, just because she keep have issues with Ngozi always . It’s now time for the prince to choose a wife for himself

On the way to the palace the maid and Ngozi met a poor old woman at entrance of the city. The woman who was very busy with her child and her baby as she did not have one to do the shores for her it was at that point that the maid said some words that would later change not just the queen's life but also the maids.

When they got to the palace, they met the bride and after a brief introduction the maid and Ngozi went off to look for the queen, when they got there, Ngozi saw the queen with her hair all disheveled and she was dressing dirty clothes, at that point she moved closer to see if the old woman was her mother in-law she was but she could not believe what she saw.

The old woman was the woman she helped at the entrance of the city. This was how the queen announced that it was the maid was the one who passed the test. And immediately the wedding arrangement began.
