"Laksa in a burger and pulut hitam in a pie | 叻沙汉堡和黑糯米派 😎" Was looking for lunch alone on Wednesday at the food centre. So crowded and not a chance of getting a seat. So I tried my luck at McDonald’s. It was super crowded too but I spotted a lady with a boy got up and immediately pounced on the seat and open the app.I came to try the new laksa burger. Wow, the meal cost more than $9. The app has a $2 off if you spend $10 so I went for the meal that included a pie and paid less than the $9 meal. The place was crowded with people queueing at the kiosk, waiting for their food and looking for a seat. I sat and waited for more than 20 minutes. So much for fast food. Started with the cup corn after adding some butter. Then checked out the burger which looked like a Mac Chicken with egg and a different sauce. It also tasted like that with a bit of laksa sauce but I found the sauce too little. Not something I’d pay the same price to eat again. Brought the pie and coffee back to office. That is pulut hitam in a pie. It is kind of nice. Cheers for another meal.
