Lockdown
Lockdown uli ang probinsya ng Bohol sa kadahilan na yong mga LSI na nanggaling ng Maynila na pinauwi ay nakitaan na positibo sa virus. May dalawa rin na nanggaling sa probinsya ng Cebu na nagpositibo rin sa virus.
Ang mga naturang nagpositibo ay kasalukuyan ng ginawarantin sa kani kanilang mga lugar at tini trace narin ang mga nakakasalamuhang mga tao na pwde ring nahawaan ng nasabing virus.
Sa ngayon bumalik ang lockdown sa buong lalawigan at yong mga nag aasam na makauwi ay hindinna pinayagan pang makauwi. Sa isang balita maraming stranded na pasahero ang kasalukuyan ngayun na hindi mona makakauwi. Sa NAIA daang daan na pasahero ang hindinmuna pinayagan na makauwi sa nasabing probinsya.
Kilan pa kaya mawala ng lubusan itong mapanirang virus na naghahasik sa atin at kumikitil ng napakaraming buhay hindi lang sa atin kundi sa buon mundo.

Bisaya
Ang bisaya maoy ikaduhang lingwahe na gigamit sa tibook Pilipinas. Ang bisaya na pinolongan gigamit kasagaran sa Visayas og Mindanao na lugar. Bisag asa siguro kang dapit niining kalibutana naay mga bisaya na imong mailaila.
Ang nakanindot sa bisaya na pinolongan kay daghan kaayu og mga lawom na mga pasabot. Kanang mga karaan og mga tigulang na naa silay mga lawom na mga istorya na usahay dili nata kasabot. Maong akon ning gihimo na community aron mabalik og matugkad nato ang mga istorya na lawom kaayo na hapit na dli na natu masabtan.

Here are some facts about ‘Quarantine’:
👉The word “quarantine” comes from the Venetian term ‘quaranta’ which means 40 days.
During the 14th and 15th centuries, a similar plague epidemic called the “Black Death” occurred and caused 50 million fatalities in Europe that constitutes to 60 percent of the population.
Also during that time, voyagers, including passengers and crew, were isolated inside their ships within 40 days before getting ashore.
👉The concept of quarantine was already used during the Biblical times around early 7th century BC.
In the book of Leviticus, the Mosaic Law described how the isolation procedure should take place:
"If the shiny spot on the skin is white but does not appear to be more than skin deep and the hair in it has not turned white, the priest is to isolate the affected person for seven days. On the seventh day the priest is to examine him, and if he sees that the sore is unchanged and has not spread in the skin, he is to isolate him for another seven days."
Thus, during the modern times, the isolation period runs from 7 to 14 days during a quarantine.

Pata tim - Oriental Style
PATA TIM - oriental sty
Ingredients
1 whole pata (cut into 2 or 3 pcs)
Pechay baguio
Pechay tagalog
2 cups young corn (sliced into bite size)
200 g whole mushrooms
1 red bell pepper (sliced)
Onion leek
6 tbsp soy sauce
50 g chicharo
1 med carrots (thinly sliced)
1 med onion (chopped)
5 cloves garlic (chopped)
8 to 10 pcs star anise
10 g sibot (optional)
2 pcs bay leaves
1/2 tsp pepper (cracked)
3 cups water
Procedure :
1. In a pressure cooker, put the pata, soy sauce, garlic, onion, pepper, bay leaves, sibot, star anise, water.
2. Cook for 20 mins. (High pressure, medium heat)
3. Flip the pata and cook for another 20 minutes.
4. Take out the pata from the pressure cooker.
5. In medium heat, boil the other ingredients using the pata’s soup. Cook first the corn, mushrooms and carrots for 5 minutes then add the rest of the veggies. Cook for 5 another minutes.
6. Serve and enjoy. ❤️

When we look forward with hope, we look forward with optimism. It's a form of belief and faith that what's to come is going to be good, sometimes even better than the present. When we have hope we believe that there's a light at the end of the tunnel, even if we can't see it, and that we will one day reach it.
Right now we don't have a lot to hold onto. Every day is uncertain and ever-changing, and it's difficult to see the end when we have no timeframe to go by. When nothing is definite, hope is something to cling to. With hope we know that today may be tough, and maybe even tomorrow, but one day, some day soon, the light will shine brighter than it has before and we will smile bigger than we ever did.
Find what gives you hope and hold on to it tightly, my friends. Let it be your stronghold as we walk through these days together.

Nowadays FACEBOOK is full of posts about people being infected by COVID-19 and that they need our prayers.We are all surrounded by those scary and heart aching news.We are scared and terrified about our friends,families even more than ourselves.But let’s try to be positive.Many people are getting cured from this virus.They were able to fight it and become better.Despite all this panic,the only thing we should be sure about is that GOD is always by our side and will protect our friends,families and our beloved ones and will cure those who got infected.For now,what we can do is to pray,have faith in our GOD and to help those who got infected by trying to calm them down and to assure them that everything will be fine.

Lemon Velvet Cake
Ingredients
Cake
2 1/2 cups all-purpose
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon fine salt
1 1/2 cups vegetable or canola oil
1 cup buttermilk room temperature
3 extra-large eggs room temperature
1 tablespoon liquid food coloring
juice of 1 lemon or 1 teaspoon lemon extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
zest of 2 lemons
Frosting
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/2 cup softened butter
juice of 1 lemon or 1 teaspoon lemon extract
8 cups powdered sugar sifted
2 tablespoons heavy cream more or less to reach desired consistency
liquid yellow food coloring to reach a mellow yellow tint

Instructions
Cake
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare three 8-inch round baking pans with non-stick spray. Set aside.
In a large bowl sift the flour and salt. Add the 1 teaspoon baking soda to the 1 cup buttermilk (use a 2 cup measure) and mix well to develop. Set aside.
In the bowl of an electric mixer beat together the vegetable oil, sugar, vanilla , lemon juice and yellow food coloring. Beat well at high speed with whisk attachment until light and fluffy . Add eggs 1 at a time until well combined.
At this point I use a spatula to fold in the lemon zest. Add the dry ingredients and buttermilk/soda mixture alternately. Begin and end with dry ingredients.
Divide the batter evenly between the 3 prepared cake pans. I use a 1/2 cup measure to try to make them equal. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes or until tested by lightly touching the center and it bounces back.
Remove from the oven to cool for 10 minutes on cooling racks. Then invert on racks to cool completely before frosting.
