Since I was absent yesterday due to lost typhoon, I wasn't able to attend the day 3 of my class: Topic was about Parasitology Introduction. But earlier I was able to attend zoom for the continuation of the course. It started 8 am. Well there was alot of information to process but I am taking it little by little to understand even more. I am also inspired by the Instructor. He was one of the topnotchers in 2016. The way he explained everything pretty much says it all. Now to get and stay in my zone, I will review more and write notes. anyways stay safe everyone!

first day of board exam review: check It was amazing how instructors are not the usual read and discuss instructors but they incorporated a fun a great way of learning to make sure that us, students are learning and understanding each questions very carefully. After orientation with few tips about review, we had a 200 item post exam and around 3:00pm-5:00pm, we had post exam rationale. that's all

@abrilata

First day of review tomorrow. I started to customize a schedule tracker earlier but I still hasn't finished it. I am using excel and later on I'll do the same sched tracker using notion just to keep organized.

Just because it hurts, it doesn't mean it isn't worth it and if even if it stings, it's just a temporary thing. I'm not saying that changing won't cause you love won't make you cry. But it will all make sense when the growing pain subside. - Growing pains by Maria Mena

Board exam review is fast approaching. Taking things seriously, planning out and making study habit is what I am doing right now. First I have to have GOAL and since my mind I am very anxious about what if's, and I am having hard time focusing, I will reduce extra screen time to maximize planning and taking action instead of scrolling and watching the whole day. I noticed that all the things I see in my feed influences my mind into tricking to do exactly what they are doing or get me really curious. Sometimes I find myself really motivated to do something new and when I see other interesting stuff, I immediately wanted to do it as well so tendency is it all piled up, my plate is getting full and messy and of course it will be hard to digest. So what I am going to do is to take things one at a time. THIS IS WHERE I'LL START

It's never too late to start again.

When Anxiety Knows What I Care About Before I Do Have you ever been going about your day, feeling pretty normal, when suddenly anxiety hits out of nowhere? It’s as if your brain is saying, “Hey, remember that thing you didn’t even realize you cared about? Surprise—it’s a huge deal!” And suddenly, you're overwhelmed by something you didn’t even know was on your radar a few minutes ago. This happens to me a lot. It's like anxiety knows what’s important to me before I figure it out myself. It has this strange ability to sense the things I haven’t fully processed yet. As frustrating as it is, I’ve learned there’s something valuable in that experience. ****The Way Anxiety Sneaks In**** It’s always in the little moments. You think you’re calm about something, and then—boom—anxiety shows up uninvited. Maybe you’ve got a big presentation or a meeting coming up, and you’ve convinced yourself you’re fine with it. But the night before? Suddenly, you can’t sleep, and every detail starts to feel overwhelming. What’s happening? The truth is, that event probably means more to you than you’ve admitted. Maybe it’s about impressing someone, proving yourself, or just feeling like you belong. But you haven’t caught on to that yet, even though your anxiety has. That’s how it works—it surfaces when something beneath the surface matters more than we’ve consciously acknowledged. It’s like anxiety’s radar is locked onto what you care about, even if you’re still catching up. **The Alarm You Didn’t Order** Anxiety is like an over-the-top alarm system that goes off when something significant is on the line. The problem? It tends to be too loud and a little dramatic. Instead of gently nudging you, saying, “Hey, maybe give this some thought,” it screams, “PANIC! EVERYTHING’S FALLING APART!” when really, it’s often something small. I had an experience like this with a job interview once. I thought I didn’t care that much about it—it wasn’t even my dream job. But the night before, I was wide awake, heart pounding, unable to settle down. Looking back, I realized that interview represented more than just a paycheck; it was about proving to myself that I had options, that I wasn’t stuck. My anxiety knew this before I did. **What Is Anxiety Trying to Tell You?** As annoying as anxiety is, it’s often trying to tell you something important. It’s shining a spotlight on things you care about, even if you haven’t consciously noticed them yet. Once I started paying closer attention to when and why anxiety showed up, I realized it was often pointing to my core values—things like what I fear losing or what goals I’m striving toward. Not every bout of anxiety makes sense on the surface, and sometimes it latches onto irrational fears. But if you dig deeper, there’s usually a connection to something real—like uncertainty, a need for control, or the desire to be accepted. If you take a moment to think about it, anxiety can reveal what’s really at play. **Reclaiming Control** Here’s the upside: just because anxiety is quick to figure out what matters, it doesn’t get to control your decisions. You’re still the one in charge. Once I realized anxiety was flagging things that were important to me, I started using it as a tool to dig deeper rather than letting it take over my thoughts. When anxiety shows up, I pause and ask myself, “What’s this really about?” Most of the time, I can trace it back to something more profound—like fear of failing, wanting to impress someone, or even just needing control over a situation. It’s not always easy, but a little reflection can go a long way.

felt so sleepy all day long but I tried to stay awake for some reason. Anyway I am trying out some AI tools such as song maker. I tried to turn my poems into songs and dang! I'm still surprised how good those tools are! but I still won't trade it to original songwriters hehhehe

I have learned from the lean times taht there is absolutely nothing as paralyzing as a warped reverie about the past or some projected terror of the future. Slowly I am learnng that as long as I stay focused on the right now, I am fine- Am

I wanna find a community here that support each other, people who don't judge easily and are kind enough to listen, share advices and insights. :(

Just checking up on how things are going. Do you remember what you wore yesterday?

@abrilata

Growing old is realizing that I didn't really know myself well. I still wonder if I will still be me if I've experienced a different life or met different people. I am a combination of their influences, a blend of what I see in my surroundings. I wonder who I will become after all these experiences and encounters, and how they will shape my identity as I continue to grow.

Marker Raindrops or is it teardrops falling down? I am drowning, memories fading of living in a house I called home. Save me, find me tell me don't be afraid, that world is still waiting for me to come back. Hug me in your arms and say "it's over dear" shh it's over. I had a dream that angels were flying, but their bodies weren't moving, and their eyes were closed. Their faces were either sad or scared, and I could see the pain through the wind and the waters. They're flying, aren't they? Or why does it seem like they're floating? And their wings—where are their wings? They’re angels, aren’t they? I woke up with a marker on my hand, and as the hurricane approached, I wrote my dreams instead of my name. '*If I am to live again, I wanted to wake up in a world where storms are just a myth*.' I closed my eyes, like the angels I saw in my dream and I fell asleep. and I fell asleep hoping that unlike those angels, I can move my wings and open my eyes to see the world once again.

When doubting about the step we should make or plans we should accomplish, doubting about ourselves, our capabilities, doubting if we can make it or not. Why not beat the cycle and doubt the doubt?

@abrilata

Suzanne Somers said, "I don't know what tomorrow will bring, but today I am aware that forgiveness heals, that blame is a waste of energy, That awareness of each moment of life is precious. I don't want to waste any of it. I want to be present, in the moment, and accept all that happens to me as the gift that it is to grow and evolve into the best person I can be "

@abrilata

I just decided to help myself out. I noticed lately that I'm doing the same thing over and over but I couldn't get any self improvements to my actions. my mind is like a house full of Ideas. I always welcome new hobbies, thoughts, tips. I easily get overwhelmed, I always think that I can do things. Just because other people can . well that seems to be a healthy practice because there is that willingness and courage. However I have to figure out first how to organize my thoughts. There are so many pending ideas and plans but I can't finish. This is seriously taking all my energies away. So I decided to take things slowly and one at a time.

@abrilata

I can't imagine I am healing myself thru my cat lol
