Don’t blame me if it feels like I’m rushing through life. My parents aren’t getting any younger. Every time I see them in pain, I feel it too. When they struggle, a part of me breaks. So no, I don’t care if I seem too busy to hang out, or if I haven’t yet healed my inner child or heal old wounds. That can wait.
