Anybody know the best way to upload an audio file to YouTube? I was able to recover one side of the SOFA album. Unfortunately, the file for side B is corrupt, and I try as I may, I can't recover it... I'll have to re-rip that side.

Obscure-ish full albums are getting harder to find digital copies of... when I get a chance, I guess I'm gonna have to upload the copy of The Label - SOFA because it doesn't seem to exist anywhere other than discogs lol It's an old punk sampler on what might be the thickest vinyl record I've ever seen. It's basically two one-sided albums pressed into each other in clear vinyl, with an image between them. Sound quality is trash, but it's a garage punk sampler album from '79, so that's just as likely to be the fault of the recording tech (or lack thereof) as much as it is issues due to pressing this thing... or maybe both 😂 Here's the Discogs page for the album (attached pic c/o that page). I don't own the album myself, but my dad does. This demo is mindblowing, and I have no idea how it didn't place first. As far as I can tell it's from a 2019 demoscene competition, but it was written to be run on an Atari ST. That particular computer is like 36 years old now... but they're pulling some pretty fun tricks in this one. Toner Low (Self Titled Album) Rakrakan-O-Meter: [████████░░] - Classic sludge vibes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEOm2JIgySM I think this is the second sludge metal album that I've shared on here. The genre definitely isn't for everybody, but I'm a huge fan. It's so simplistic, and often downtempo, yet manages to pack a real punch. From the "I have no idea wtf this guy is talking about" files, I just found out about a really cool project somebody's maintaining called Box86 - it allows you to run x86-based programs on devices running ARM processors. Essentially, it opens up doors to run PC-based software on cell phones. It's gonna be a bit more of a process for me because my phone is running a 64-bit processor, so I'll have to download 32-bit equivalents of Termux etc... but yeah. Hoping work quiets down soon so I can tinker with this a bit. But Boney M's Christmas Album album is where it's at. I first heard this one in a shopping mall when I was a kid and literally made my dad go to the record store to buy it 😂. This album is just pure nostalgia for me - I remember dancing like an idiot to it when I was a kid. Work holiday starts tomorrow! Can't wait - even though I still have one and a half workdays to do during the holidays, I can't complain. I'm basically off until the new year. It's amazing how far you can stretch vacation time during winter holidays haha

Was really hoping to get into TEL as a launcher for my phone - it's as close to running and Android phone like a Linux computer as you can get; but as much as I wanted to love it, it was just a bit too clunky and battery-intensive. I realize that it's probably best to just stick with T-UI as my launcher and Termux for the Linux stuff. If anybody's interested, T-UI is a commandline-based launcher that's pretty straightforward to use and accepts most Linux commands, but doesn't really offer much depth. It does have some convenient features, like the ability to send SMS texts straight from the launcher, and the ability to reply back to notifications from the launcher as well. You can do some janky workarounds to make Tasker integrations with it, too. Termux is basically just a full-on Linux commandline for Android. It lets you install some Linux packages right to your phone and operates pretty much the way you'd expect a Linux commandline to operate. It's possibly one of the most powerful tools you can get for Android. T.E.L is basically a combination of T-UI and Termux, though it's not really related to T-UI at all. It pretty much turns your phone into a Linux-based computer, integrating Termux functionality with core Android functions. Tried to make another card tonight, but this one's been a real struggle. All the other ones I've done have almost just done themselves. I can kinda pull colours from personalities and such... but the person I wanted to do this one for is a lot different than the other people and I realized that I don't really have a mental colour scheme of them. Anyway, somehow I ended up with this. It still made itself, but it wasn't what I was going for. I I think it's hilarious how generic and "Stereotypical Cali" it turned out 😂

Flying cars, neon signs, lots of purples and pinks, wild tech, and a dystopian world. This is one of those albums that I can listen to and practically see an animated movie playing if I close my eyes. Mitch Murder is one of the de facto Synthwave artists in my opinion. 1upcoin... what a joke. Sounded like a viable solution for streamers to accept crypto donations, but look at the coins you get with a free account: BTC, ETH, LTC... could they have found any more expensive-to-use coins to let free users have access to? Considering most people only tip $1 to $5 USD this makes like no sense lol. Why even bother with a free tier when the coin choices aren't all that accessible? (side note, free users get SHIBE but it's mentioned "coin of the month" so I can only assume that slot rotates monthly) If you want access to more accessible coins like BCH then you have to either pay $5/mo or $50/year... The benefit of using 1upcoin was that it integrates with StreamElements and Streamlabs, and could be used to trigger animations or w/e when donations are given.

The soundtrack for this game is PERFECT for focusing on work. The game itself was pretty cool when it first came out - a MUD that took place in a cyberpunk dystopia where players could hack NPC systems and eachother's in-game computers, and develop their own scripts and tools to try to come out on top. Unfortunately it was kinda ruined by some bad actors and a greedy developer who didn't really do anything to stop people from buying multiple copies of the game to run laps around people trying to play legitimately. I think today I'll share some songs through the day that take me back to better times. A few nights ago one of the Twitch DJs that I watch put "This Boy's In Love" on deck. I haven't heard this song since probably 2009 or 2010, and it almost brought me to tears. I was immediately taken back to when times were much better. This was one of my favourite songs on a random mix that I burned. Another week, another #FullAlbumFriday. While I'm really not a fan of country music, this album toes the line of Country and Folk Punk. It takes elements of country and punk, with lyrics that are almost metal lol. Been really into this super nerdy incremental game called Bitburner. It's got a really cool approach where you can write scripts to automate things. Unlike other incremental games that pretty much just rely on idly clicking buttons, this one has a ton of depth to it with the things you can buy, places you can hack, etc. But on top of that, the code you write can make your idling more efficient than other people at the same point. There's no real point to it, per se - it's not a crypto game or anything.
