I visited the Philippines a few years ago and experienced my first earthquake there. I was staying in General Santos City at the time. Following the earthquake, one of the malls there burned. An interesting experience to be sure but not one I think I want to repeat. Hope everyone stays safe...

I heard it in the news too. and i am sad because there are some damaged houses. its far from our area, its happened around in Mindanao . thank you for your concerns to filipinos

Good thing sir, there's no casualties but still they are monitoring if some after shock will happen after how many hours. Thank you po for your concern 🙏

We're in western Mindanao, and I didn't even know about the earthquake until I read about it here. Apparently only eastern Mindanao was affected. Reading the other replies, it sounds like there were no casualties, thank God!
