One of the guys I follow on Twitch just dropped a new single that he and his band have worked on. Silverchord is a 5 piece band out of the USA. Their rhythm guitarist goes by DestroX88X on Twitch, and is on fairly frequently. He's a super awesome dude AND you can fuck with his lights using channel points that you gain by watching him (you'd need to register for a Twitch account if you don't have one). "Good Friend" is the first of many of the new songs that they're working on. Their genre is a bit hard to define - they've got 90s vibe to them for sure, but other than that they're not quite metal, they're not quite rock, they're not quite alt, and they're not quite grunge. Destro jokes that they've defined a new genre called "Subtly Metal™" Destro had been teasing it for about a month on Twitch, and the final mix is so good! So awesome to finally hear it!
