About Murud beach
Murud is a town inside the Ratnagiri locale of Maharashtra, India. It is 420.92 hectares in size.
It is situated in the Dapoli sub-locale (taluka) of the Ratnagiri area. Murud is generally called Murud-Harnai to separate it from Murud-Janjira (near Alibag).
Murud is a developing explorer spot notable for its picturesque seashores, notable sanctuaries, and medieval ocean stronghold.

How to reach Murud Beach
By Train: Closest Railway station from Murud Beach is KHED which is around 35 KM away from Murud Beach. From Railway station one needs to take transport or rickshaw or private vehicle to reach Murud Beach. Charges of Bus or rickshaw will be around 40-50.
By Bus: The bus transport will drop you at Dapoli Bus station which is 12 km away from Murud Beach and afterward you need to take Share rickshaw for Murud Beach for which they charge Rs. 20/ - per individual.
Best time to visit Murud Beach
Murud is a place that may be visited all through the year; however, the great time to visit Murud beach is from October to February. It has a slightly warm summertime and less warm winters.
