Allah gives happiness and blessings to the family through daughters. It is mentioned in the hadith.
But in our society many families still do not look at the birth of a daughter with a positive eye. Many are also unhappy with the mother of the girl child. Expressed dissatisfaction in various ways.
Dislike of having a daughter, abusing them and not fulfilling the responsibility of raising them properly is a bad practice of the pre-Islamic barbaric age of ignorance.
Allaah was very displeased with such an act.
Allaah says in the Holy Qur’aan, ‘When one of them is given the glad tidings of a daughter, his face becomes dark and he begins to suffer unbearably.
He hides his face from the people because he is saddened by the good news. He thinks that he will be humiliated and let him stay or put him under the ground. Listen, their judgment is very bad. (Surah An-Nahl, verses 56-59)
