This days most important Buddhist community. I also buddhist. All full moon dates are auspicious days for buddhists for reason or another.
The pravarna purnima menes " satisfaction of hope " " fulfillment of desires " completion of mediation or education. It also refers to self purfication.
On this auspicious day,Lord buddha descended from devalok to sankasha nagar. The quarterly rainy season of the monaks was completed the day. For this reason " Ashwini purnima or pravarna purnima is the absolute holy day of the buddhist.
On this day in the evening the light will be illuminated in bihar by the twinkling lights. Then a unique scene unfolds.
This day pradeep puja as well as morning prayer metting will be held.the day activities are like children firecrakers blowing lanterns and rejoicing in buddha kirtan.
