I'm just curious..... Will noise get flooded with 1000s of New Year wishes starting in a few hours and a large percentage of the posts will pertain to wishing everyone for the New Year 2022? If this happens, will it be a good thing or will it be annoying??!! I wonder!! What are your thoughts on this please?

It's a good thing. Means they just want to share and celebrate their new years with us hehe
It is a normal thing, other platforms too like Facebook and Twitter will be filled such messages.
