A drizzle through the night and rains continuing in the morning - a recipe for thick clouds and a thicker mist covering on the hills. The sun stood no chance today. Even though it can't be seen, the light that diffuses out is bright enough to know that another day has dawned. I hate rainy mornings. Getting to work on the scooter is messy and I don't havr parking space for my car. Hope I can hitch a ride!

@a2j

I'm not a fan of flavoured coffee, but I fell for this. It's french vanilla coffee. It's been ground coarse (for my French press). Some of the flavoured coffee has so much flavour that it drowns the coffee taste and aroma. This, thankfully, was not that way and I had a different start to the morning - perfect coffee to start off a misty and cloudy morning. #Coffee

Another promo code from cointiply for bonus 99 coins. They usually give them out once a week and sometimes more frequently. If you use their app, it comes as a notification. Otherwise, follow them on twitter as they post the code there. The code for today is: HALLOWEENDREAMS (Needs to be in all caps I think) Enjoy your 99 coins! Do post a reply if the code worked. https://bch.gg/cply #Faucet

I'm looking to purchase Amazon gift certificates (Indian) with some of the crypto I've got. I've looked at coinsbee as an option for this. They do have a KYC requirement and I'm also not sure if they are reliable and send the digital giftcard immediately? Has anyone used their services? Or are there any more reliable services for this? If there is no KYC requirement, that will be great.

@a2j

Would you trust a taxi company named "Lemon Taxi"? This taxi company called themselves that and were popular at one time. I haven't seen them recently. This picture is from a couple of years ago. Maybe I should call the number on the taxi and see if they are still functioning or whether their entire company folded up. I hope their cars were not lemons though - would find it tough to trust them with my life on Indian roads!!

@a2j

Wanderoo is today's coffee choice from the sampler pack I got s couple of weeks ago. It's a medium roast Arabica coffee. I wonder where coffee roasters and online stores get the inspiration for the write ups they do. They write more unique stuff than some best selling authors! Wanderoo did make me wonder and wander early in the morning and is a great coffee to wake up to. #Coffee

@a2j

It looks like November is going to be misty, cloudy and rainy - at least the first half. Usually the rains stop mid-november. Just like yesterday, an overnight drizzle that went on to 7 am meant the morning was darker and thick mist covered the hilltop. Even though it looks gloomy, it's hard not to appreciate the unique beauty this creates.

@a2j

It's x2 RLT bonus again this week. You can switch to 100% or predominantly RLT to earn for buying miners. I think I'll save up for a handful of basic miners and then concentrate on cash out. It's more of a long term strategy rather than short time - as RLT cannot be cashed out or converted to any of the other coins. Enjoy the RLT this week. With the overall network power at less than 40Eh/s (it was about 60 Eh/s when season 1 ended), earnings for most users are bound to be…

@a2j

I've seen som colorful bugs, but this was the most colorful I have ever seen. It's shiny and has a shine that is fascinating. Do any of you know what this bug is? It was in my garden on a curry leave plant for a few days and then I didn't see it any more. I didn't see any more like it either. Wonder where it went!

@a2j

I think I'm gonna bore you with misty hill pics every morning. Another day in November and the mist gets thicker and lower on the hills - almost covering more than half of it. To change the scenery, I've posted a pic taken out of our bedroom window on the other side of the balcony. It's past 7 am and still quite dark, which is surprising. Let's see what the sun has in store for us today!

@a2j

Get in JungleTV now! Almost 4 hours of music and videos have been queued up. And the spectrum of music is amazing - AC/DC, Cher, Alice Cooper, Cyndi Lauper, Tears for Fear, Queen, Whitney Houston, Kenny Loggins, Meat Loaf and much more. Enjoy the music and the banano and the chat! Waiting for some skip and tip wars to increase the earnings.

@a2j

Raindrops have inspired many songs, poems and romances. There's something fascinating about a water drop that is clinging onto a window, plant or blade of grass. After a drizzle, the designs it forms on parked car windows and leaves are breathtaking. I have a cactus perched on a pot on the outer wall of my balcony and it caught a few rain drops overnight. The combination of the water drop, green color and spiky cactus was beautiful. It's a pity that I was in a hurry and…

We are gearing up to start church services again and hence drove to church which is half an hour away from the city to check and set up stuff. After a tiring 2 hours we were ready to leave and were greeted to an awesome sunset through coconut trees and some hills in the horizon. It felt so peaceful driving back - till we reached the pandemonium once we were back inside the city.

@a2j

Caught the sunset while driving back home today. Our church is about half an hour away and we finished at 6 pm just when the sun started setting. It's in a slightly remote area with open fields and bad roads. It was such a sight to see the sunset across the green fields in the foreground and some trees and hills in the horizon. The darker picture shows the brilliant colors of the sunset and the slightly brighter one shows a little child running across the field without a…

@a2j

Some of the plants at church had overgrown and this one, in particular, had grown high and had plenty of flowers blooming out. It was a sight to enjoy! Does anyone know which flower this is. This one is pink and there is another similar plant with light yellow flowers on it. #flowers #plants

@a2j

Mesmerized by the coffee brewing in my Aeropress. Apparently it should brew for just over a minute to get the best flavour. I used to use a timer when I first started, but now am too lazy for it. So I end up brewing it longer at times which makes the coffee a little more bitter. I must learn to be more exact in my coffee making to get the best out of it!! #Coffee

@a2j

Railway crossings are bizarre moments here in India. You'd expect that vehicles would line up and wait patiently. Not in india! The car behind me overtook me as I was waiting and sneaked into the gap between the boomgate and me. Bikes swarmed around me and blocked the entire road. The same was the situation on the other side. Everyone was hoping to be the first off the blocks when the gates opened. But as you can imagine - once the gates opened, it was just a massive jam…

@a2j

Let's get back to the 1990s. I've heard only 1 song by The Goo Goo Dolls and that is Iris. https://youtu.be/NdYWuo9OFAw I love the acoustic guitar feel in the background and the slight rock overtones it has with the slight build up towards the end. It's hard to put a finger on why I love this song more than 20 years after I heard it.... but good music has a way of doing that.

@a2j

The festival of lights, Diwali, is being celebrated all over India. Had a colorful time in the evening with our community - a short time of crackers and some dancing with singing. Being in india, we celebrate a lot of festivals with friends even though it may not be a festival in our own state or religion. I felt very welcome as usual. This is a picture of my son holding some sparklers. Have a great day/night.

@a2j

I tried using one of those clip on macro lens on an old iPhone 7 that my son uses to see if it could capture the water droplet on the cactus. It came out looking average. I was hoping it would catch the droplet better and make the cactus thorns looks sharper. I have a lot of work to do before I can get macro images for this site. My 11 year old son has been playing with this for a while and seems to be better than me!! Tips and tricks are welcome...

@a2j

Today's morning mist and haze was different from the previous day's. Last night saw the celebration of Diwali and lots of fireworks. There was no rain at all. Even though it was warmer than the previous nights, the combination of smoke from the fire crackers and the early morning dip in temperature created more of smog than mist. Let's see how it is at ground level when I get to work.

@a2j

Force of habit. I live on the 5th floor of my apartment complex. So, everytime I enter the lift, I punch in '5' to get home. Today, I had to visit s friend in the next block who stays on the 8th floor. And guess what I did? As soon as I entered the lift, I punched in '5' again! I am so used to punching in '5' - must have done it 1000s of times in the last 7 years. Have you done anything like this by force of habit?

@a2j

Noise has added a new item on their menu display. It's a direct link to the noise wallet. Prior to this, you had to go to settings and then click on the green wallet symbol (after it loaded) to see how much you had in your noise BCH wallet and go on to pay, look at transaction history, etc. So this menu item makes it one click less😆. It's technically not a new feature, but just a change in layout.

@a2j

Will my Nexus 5 from 2014 recover? The Google Nexus 5 was my first android phone. It's now just used as a back up phone by my son at times. It seems to be on its final legs and now the connectivity to wifi does not work. So I finally decided to do a factory reset to see if it helps. It's been erasing for a looooong time now. I've just left it connected to the charger and am waiting. I hope it doesn't die on me!

@a2j

Bright morning, drizzly afternoon and a quiet evening. Even without the fabulous colors of the setting sun or bright skies, there's something fascinating about the evening sky. It's mostly grey and dark with the clouds forming some abstract art in the dull blue sky. But still, I could stare at it for hours and let random thoughts run through my mind.

@a2j

I've been using faucets and crypto earning sites for the last couple of them. Some specify that you need to disable adblock when using Brave Browser. Or else the site gives an error. Some sites allow you to click and claim without disabling the as blocker. One site I use often is faucetcrypto - an honest paying site. I was a little zapped when I saw the number of ads and nasties blocked - more than 200! On most other sites it's around 10. I'm not sure if there is something…

@a2j

My guitar has been lying unused for a couple of months now. I haven't been to church as meetings have been virtual. I took it off its stand today and it was a from reminder that unused items can easily get into bad shape. There was a cobweb in it! That just shows that I haven't even touched it! There was a layer of dust all over it. The strings had become rusty. We are starting church again this week and it's time for me to set it right. I'll need to wipe it clean and change…

@a2j

The November rain is not a bad thing, eh! Our church is far away from the madding crowded city and we finally restarted physical meetings today. It has been raining through the night and there was a steady drizzle the whole morning. The November rains had made the church surroundings lush green. Even the hill was green. The clouds made it all a bit subdued though. We went quite early to set up - so had some extra time to soak in the greenery!

@a2j

Midoin is the new coin on the block! As per news it is ready to enter the blockchain on November 15 on testnet mode. I coin is made every minute and you can get a portion of this by downloading the app and mining - ridiculously easy to do (just tap). They have an auto mode for mining which is much slower but keeps the coin accumulation steady. https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-queries/midoin-the-new-coin-on-the-block-gearing-up-for-listing-xznzdlk Click here for more on how…

Raindrops pitter-pattering on the car. That was a very satisfying and calming sound as I drove back through narrow village roads surrounded by some greenery and fields. The water droplets on the windscreen and glass made it even more pretty and the smell of nature was soothing. The pictures here will give you a glimpse into the beauty I experienced on the drive.

@a2j

Is 1000 a magic number? For me, reaching 1000 subs certainly feels magical. It's been a good ride here at noise and I've found it to be a great way of expressing myself through the last few months. I have loved the interactions and the chance to put out my thoughts, photos, happenings and feelings - some have been very random! Thanks to each of you at noise for making this one of the best parts of my online life.

@a2j

It's gloomy. There's a cyclone in the coastal region with floods. Even though we are 100 km inland, it's been raining continuously for a day. It's been a light rain and the weather is quite pleasant. The bad thing is that there is no blue sky to see as there is a thick cloud cover. A slight haze means that the morning is not bright. Even the lush green hill seems to have lost its lustre. Waiting for the haze to clear so that we can see the bright green through the drizzle.…

@a2j

I had the chance to interact with college students at a Bible study and we covered the topic "Beauty for Brokennes". It was a nice interactive session. The talk was centred around the song "God of the Poor" by Graham Kendrick. The song version I played was sung by doctors and workers at a remote hospital in India with striking visuals from the local areas. We ended the session by singing the song. https://youtu.be/kErRWeu0iZk This is a song with lyrics that truly reflect the…

A heartful of coffee. Baristas make it look artsy and have a stylish way of using foamed milk to create coffee art. I just poured out a blob of foamed milk at the end and it came out like this. I gave it to my wife. She understood. She still loves me. I still love coffee!

@a2j

In their race to post news (and ads) as soon as possible, sometimes, the news channels occasionally let something slip on to the final, publicly visible website before proper proof reading or checks. News.com.au is an Australian news channel that I still read regularly and I chuckled when I realised the editor had let this news / ad item be published with the default text and phrase. I wonder if he got a memo for this. Have you caught such slips on online news websites?

@a2j

With November being rainy and gloomy, I thought the table rose plants perched on the balcony edge would hate the weather. Seems to be the opposite! There are more buds today on the plants than I have seen before. The only problem is that the sun comes out late and so I don't get to see them in full bloom. Maybe I'll ask my son to send a picture in the afternoon. A little splash of color in the narrow balcony is always a welcome sight, whatever the weather is!

@a2j

Honeygain (passive money making app when simply connected to the internet) has a daily bonus credit feature. I usually get 10 or 20 credits as bonus. Occasionally I get 50 or 100 credits. Today, it was was a jackpot and I was given 200 credits as bonus, which is the first time I have gotten this. 1000 credits is worth 1$ and so this bonus is worth 20 cents which is a good bonus to get. It all adds up as I get closer to their 20$ minimum payout. If you're interested, join in…

The Christmassy ads have started on crypto earning sites. I got this ad when using a crypto earning app. It felt good to see these ads rather than the usual boring video ads. It looks like a Christmas lights website ad. I didn't click it - maybe I should have. Have you started seeing Christmas ads on your crypto earning sites?

Coffee blooming and brewing on my Aeropress. Blooming is the bubbling that happens when freshly roasted beans are ground and hot water is poured on it to brew a fresh cuppa. It's apparently carbon dioxide escaping from the beans. It's a fascinating sight even though it lasts only a few seconds. The anticipation builds up as much as the carbon dioxide! Have a great cuppa friends!

@a2j

Wetting the coffee: After grinding the coffee beans and measuring it out into the Aeropress, I wet the coffee grounds to soak them and let them bloom for a while before pouring out the rest of the hot water to brew the coffee. I wonder if the coffee powder likes this 'hot soak' before it drowns out! The wetting of the coffee certainly whets my appetite for a coffee every morning! #Coffee

This is a sunset I enjoyed a few years ago while driving on the highway. I still remember how magical it looked, while my wife grabbed the camera to take a pic through the windscreen as we were cruising at 100 kmph. It's very calming to drive when seeing something so beautiful in nature! Much better than the crazy stress of driving through honking traffic!

#WTH Was surfing some PTCs and noticed that the pop up message on one of the websites displayed a default prompt - looks like the admins forgot to change it to the actual message or the site script had a glitch in it. #error I think the site was bitdeer - a fairly popular mining site. Hope their mining does not have glitches like their website!

@a2j

With the incessant drizzle, early mornings are a misty haze with the sun struggling to shine through. There is no blue in the sky and the early morning air has a chill which is unusual for my city! In fact, overnight, there is a cold draft that chills the room through the open windows. This weather makes this a lazy kinda day, but I have work to do!

@a2j

Everywhere I see this week, there are raindrops, puddles and water. There's a cyclone 100 km away in the coastao areas and we're getting incessant rains here inland. The best place to enjoy watching raindrops is on flowers. These small table rose buds on my balcony have caught a few tinier raindrops and look fresh and ready to bloom this morning. I had a frustrating time trying to catch the beauty and frailty of the raindrops on these delicate flowers with my phone. The pics…

@a2j

If you come home drenched in the rain (like I did today!) do you just towel yourself dry and change to dry clothes or do you like to shower and then change to dry clothes? I like to have a hot shower and then change to dry clothes. It makes me feel fresher and also washes off the grime that the rain leaves on me. Since walking in puddles is not the cleanest activity, a shower is helpful. Image from pixabay

@a2j

#WTH I've heard of insects, bugs and animals that sting. But a tree? I found this notice when we visited Cairns in Australia a few years ago. This was a beautiful place and it was hard to believe that it probably housed a dangerous tree. PS: We never got stung by any of the trees there. The whole place was safe and we just stayed away from the trees!

@a2j

Is there a problem with the channel subscribe feature here at noise? I noticed that someone posted about this a couple of days ago and I am facing the same issue. For example, I have already subscribed to this channel, but it says 'subscribe' rather than 'subscribed'. If I click on subscribe, this does not change.

@a2j

It's still raining, but the drizzle is getting lighter. There is still a mist, but it's thinner than yesterday's. The haze hiding the green hills is lesser and the green color of the hill is getting better. There is still an unusual chill on the air as the cyclone wears away. A little warm sunshine will be welcome!

@a2j

Have you ever played an indoor board game called MasterMind? I've played it long, long time ago and it is pretty interesting. The trouble is, I have forgotten how to play it. We have a MasterMind at home and the kids use it to make colorful designs now! My daughter obviously likes to be very organised about it and made this arrangement - that's not how you play it, but try telling a 4 year old that! Anything, as long as they keep themselves entertained!

@a2j

Thanks to noise admins and programmers for fixing the noise channel owners problems (screenshots attached) which made it impossible for channel owners to reply to posts in their own channel. For a few days, it would give a prompt to subscribe to the channel (even if we were the owners and were subscribed) and then give an error when we clicked the subscribe button on this prompt. This seemed to be related to the 'subscribe' button glitch stated here in this post -…

Coffee and a broken heart?! Coffee usually mends a broken heart. But my novice effort to create some coffee art with frothed milk resulted in a broken heart on both coffee cups. The usual blob of milk tried it's best to shape itself into a heart, but failed miserably! It was heart breaking to look at it and imagine something better would happen. But it didn't. So I stirred it with a little sugar and downed it to heal my heartbreak. #Coffee

We had a touch of sun snd splash of blue in the sky last evening, but it's back to the haze, drizzle and mist this morning with a thick cloud cover. Perfect weather to snooze in till late morning, but have to be early at Church to volunteer. Looking forward to enjoying the lush greenery and open spaces around church today. It's going to be a nice day!

@a2j

Raindrops delicately showering these fragile table rose plants are very satisfying to watch. It was raining quite heavily in the afternoon and the spray of water spilt into the balcony and drizzled onto these plants. They left them looking fresh and nice. Quite a pleasing sight! The tiny droplets on the leaves and petals were very pretty The rain makes everything fresher and more beautiful doesn't it?

@a2j

When there are gusts of strong wind as it is raining, the rain swirls as it falls and the drops don't fall down in a straight line. Managed to catch a few swirls as I looked down from our balcony during a heavy spell of rain this afternoon. You can see the rainfall literally dancing as it crashes into the ground. Maybe I should take a slow motion video the next time I notice it. The heavy spell has left everything wet and puddly for the night.

@a2j

This table rose flower never ceases to amaze me. I love how, in such a small flower, one could get such a pretty splash of red on a pallet of delicate yellow petals. Awesome - and the tiny little stamens on the middle just add a touch of intricacy to the whole design. Only nature can be so creative, eh!

The contrast of yesterday: The time at church was well spent and the weather saw patched of blue appear and the sun got a chance to throw out its warmth. The afternoon suddenly saw dark clouds invade the sky again and we had a cloudburst of rain that drenched everything! My little daughter enjoyed reaching out to the raindrops for a while while the thunder roared. We enjoyed both aspects of the weather. Let's see what this week holds!

@a2j

A tree growing out of cement and brick. #wth I wonder where it gets its water and nutrition from. It seems to be thriving quite well. It's technically growing from the ceiling of the ground floor - not sure till where the roots are reaching. The brick is quite exposed and hence there will be enough moisture and rain that water it. I also wonder how it manages in summer.

One of the reasons I enjoy being at church on Sundays is that it is far away from the bustle of the city and is surrounded by farms and nature with some hills closeby. I enjoy watching the cows graze and the occasional tractor. It was an overcast day with a touch of blue skies and was very relaxing to look at after church.

Moka pot coffee. The moka pot or Stovetop espresso maker is an interesting gadget. I sometimes use it on Sunday evenings to make myself some coffee. The parts look complex, but are easy to understand once you've assembled it a couple of times. What I love about the coffee is watching the decoction ooze out of the top nozzle and then start to sputter while I take it away from the stove. Here is a complete guide I wrote on Publish0x…

"Fortune Favours The Brave" This ad by the crypto.com website on Brave homepage seemed to be made specifically for Brave browser. If you're using faucetpay to withdraw any of your earnings from crypto sites or from faucets, hold on for a while as the website is giving an error. Colorful caterpillar(?) If you look hard enough, you'll catch some beautiful things in the garden. I saw this lovely looking caterpillar amongst some plants in the garden a while ago. I wonder how it balances itself in the delicate branches of this fragile plant. But it was having a jolly good time and soaking in the sunshine from the top of the plant. I wonder if it is actually a caterpillar and what kind of butterfly it will transform into!

How do you prevent the bathroom mirror from misting up with water condensation? With the weather cooling and becoming more humid and regular rains, after a hot bath the bathroom mirror mists up with water condensation. Is there a way to minimise this? I have a small window and no exhaust fan. And, er, we do shower with the doors closed.

@a2j

Storm clouds coming in! After some respite from the rains, the next set of storm clouds are coming in. We've started getting intermittent drizzles today. The coastal regions have started getting heavier rains. I've planned a beach stay for the weekend (been 2 years since we did that) and seem to have chosen the wrong weekend! Keeping my fingers crossed that this will pass quickly or get diverted. I can't cancel anymore!

I've started playing Crypto Hamster on the laptop and finally managed to win a few games. One new thing I realised when I finish a game on the laptop is the slight difference in the end game screen which shows the power being added. This is a very useful feature as it helps to quickly see the power that you presently have. On the mobile phone, you have…

It's a plane! It's superman! It's a bee! It's a rocket? NOPE! It's a BIRD!!!!! When a FOUR year old child draws this and says it is a bird, it is indeed a bird. Period. Do not question it! My little daughter got a big hug from me after she drew this 'bird'. I thought it was quite impressive for a little girl to do this. Hmmm.... maybe its one of those father-daughter things that the world can never explain!

@a2j

Children can think of the weirdest things to do. This moth hss been inside our living room for a couple of days. I found it dead in the morning. It had probably flown into the fan or done something like that. My 4 year old daughter wants to keep it as a pet and nurse it back to health. She refused to allow me to send it back to its parents. I told her it was dead. She said that's ok - she will take care of it - is this cute, bizarre or freaky?

@a2j

It's been a rainy and chilly day today. After lunch at the office, the pitter patter of the rain, the cool breeze with the smell of the rain tempted me to eat a hot snack. One thing led to another and we bought hot bhajji and ginger tea for everyone at our workplace (about 25 people). We took a 15 minute break and the boss joined us too. Love to be in a workplace where this is possible and everyone doesn't mind a little fun in the middle of a busy day!

Another yellow notice on faucetcrypto. It looks like they are updating their payment processors. They have discontinued BitcoinSV - I have never used this snd so it won't affect me. They will also discontinue ethereum payments from the next cycle due to low usage. I haven't used ethereum due to fees. So both these moves don't affect me. Will they affect your use of FaucetCrypto? #Faucet

Is the noise website slow today? It loads very slowly and I am unable to attach images. The spinning wheel just goes on and on and after 5 min stops without uploading. My internet connection seems ok and the speed is good. All other websites are loading easily. Even attaching a screenshot with is just a few kb is difficult. Hope it is a temporary issue and gets fixed soon.

@a2j

We've started getting lashed by rains again as the next low pressure system moves inland. We got battered by rains last evening and bursts of rains through the night. There's a light drizzle now. All this means that the hills are mist covered and look pretty even though the day is gloomy. This morning, almost half the hill is mist covered with low lying mist. Quite a sight to wake up to!

@a2j

I love watching water droplets suspended on leaves, flowers or, in this case, cactus spine. The droplet was clear and acted as a lens. An overnight rain had resulted in beautiful water droplets on my balcony plants. Just watching it in the morning was refreshing!

The 'jumps' are simply out of this world! https://youtu.be/J5mSdNRGeSc Grease was one of the best musicals ever made in movie history! PS: this is just a fun video for entertainment!!

I was pleasantly surprised when my 4 year old decided to play with Jenga blocks and slowly made this as her Jenga project in 10 minutes. So instead of playing Jenga we just enjoyed looking at this construction she made. I'm quite happy when children use their creativity to do stuff and think outside the box. #kids #children

How do you measure out your coffee? Some people use a weighing scale to be more precise in their coffee measure. I use the scoop that came with the Aeropress. I'm not very accurate in that and occasionally scoop out a little bit less than the full scoop. Does making the measure exact make thatuch of a difference? #Coffee

@a2j

The drizzle continues and overnight rains have once again created water droplets on the flowers in the balcony. There is a haze and the cloud cover is never ending. But this little flower bud is patiently waiting for more sunlight to bathe it so that it can open out in all its glory. We have a beach trip planned (150 km away) and we're hoping for the sun too. But the weather forecasters don't seem to be on our side today!

@a2j

At the beach..... finally!! This is only the second time since the pandemic that we went to a beach and the first time in 2021. After a nervous 3 hour drive wondering what the weather would be like (a cyclone had just crossed the beach yesterday) and a few stints of rain during the drive, this is the sight we were greeted with. Overcast skies, a little bit of sun and the perfect temperature to play on the beach. I hope it stays this way for the next 24 hours!! #beach…

@a2j

The green, green grass below and grey clouds in the faint blue skies above with some colors of the sunrise breaking through. Thankfully our beach stay has been blessed with good weather inspite of the cyclone that crossed on Friday. I like the contrast of the bright green with the greyish skies. There was still dew in the grass as we walked on it at 6 am.

@a2j

Bottle on the beach sand. You can make it look nice by taking s good photograph, but the message in this bottle is clear - dumping garbage on the beach or into the sea is just pollution and will kill life forms on earth - plants, ses animals, land animals. This irks me a lot and I wish people will be more responsible in their behaviour on a beach. It was disheartening to notice the amount of waste and garbage dumped in the beach sand and the water when we visited this…

@a2j

We did a beach stay this weekend and our early morning beach visit at sunrise saw this friend pay us a friendly visit. It was a stray dog, but very friendly and also knew how to strike a pose with the beach and clouds in the background just as we were leaving. He seemed quite clean and healthy for a stray - probably had enough food from the multiple restaurants around this area and his friendly nature hopefully meant that he didn't get into fights! #beach #dogs

@a2j

I love that a flower can even make white look good. There are so many textures and shades of white. Add to that the delicate shape of the petals and a touch of yellow and this frangipani flower looks (and smells amazing) the frangipani plant adds such a touch of class when planted at the side of entrances and small walkways and paths!

@a2j

My noise wallet is not loading. On the settings page it just shows the bubble wheel saying it's loading and when I click the wallet link it just shows 0 as the balance. Is anyone else facing the same problem? I'll see if clearing my cache works. I've tried closing and opening the page and closing the browser too.

@a2j

Is coffee healthy? I recently bought Rage Coffee because they had a 50% off sale. Their coffee claims to be fresh Arabica, but has added vitamins and health supplements - they claim this helps immunity and metabolism etc. Coffee, by itself, is great. But if it is made healthier - awesome. I just hope they haven't messed up the taste as some nutritive additives have a weird taste and leave an unpleasant aftertaste! #Coffee

@a2j

During our weekend at the beach, I was really looking forward to the sunrise on the beach. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day and I could only catch glimpses of the sunlight filtering through the clouds and the occasional orange bursting inbetween. It still looked terrific and I was happy spending an hour with my son at the beach - 6 am!!

@a2j

Have you seen black sand on beaches? The beach we visited this weekend has black sand, rich in iron apparently, that gives way to the brown-white sand where the waves come in. The black makes it look different, but the sand is very clean - appearances can be deceptive. The only filth is what humans have left on the beach! It's interesting to dig the black sand as underneath it is brown sand and gives a layered appearance to everything you dig!!

@a2j

An early morning visit to the beach - it's so relaxing to listen to the waves, the wind and watch the sunlight stream through the clouds. The soothing beach sounds coupled with 2 of my favorite songs are calming to the soul. https://youtu.be/ut2rFI7M9G8 Enthan Kanmalai and Chattan - playing in the background to the beach sounds. Enjoy the calm and soothing music with beach sounds.

@a2j

The skies have started clearing and the moon was clearly seen in the nightsky outside my balcony. I did not have my tripod, so shot the moon by supporting the camera against the balcony parapet wall. Looking at all the patterns, craters, light reflections and shades on the moon made me think about Psalm 8:3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place. #moon #photography #god

@a2j

If you can see the moon when the sun rises, it means that the sky is clear and the air is not hazy. This was on Sunday when we were at the beach and we were genuinely concerned that it would be a rainy and cloudy day. After a slightly cloudy start, there was plenty of warm sunshine and no rains. Looks like the moon wanted to reassure us early in the morning!

@a2j

Cryptotab has a new version of it's browser called CryptoTab Browser Max. The descriptions are vague (just like farm) and it promises a better hashrate - but itdoesjt even mention if it's free or based on a subscription. I wish their team would be better at clearer communication. The reviews are bad and reflect the lack of clarity and the instability of their initial release. Can any of you let us know if you have tried this and what the experience and earnings was like?

@a2j

Are sunny days back for a little while? After hazy, misty mornings with thick clouds (you must have gotten bored of my pics) the sun peaked out from the hill again and gave us a warmer day. There were vast patches of blue in the sky and no rains. But apparently this respite is short lived and we will have heavy rains on Friday! Let's see if the weather reporters are right on their prediction.

@a2j

Does frisbee count as a sport? I don't know if there is any world championship, but playing frisbee on the beach is a terrific sport!! My son and I enjoyed playing frisbee on the beach last weekend. The wind makes it tricky to throw it steadily, but it is quite exciting. And this photo makes it look like a UFO in the air at the beach! Do you love playing frisbee?

@a2j

Is that the sun or the moon? The morning is extremely misty and hazy and the white ball was floating over the hill. It looked like the moon, but was larger than usual, but looked too dull to be the sun. Was I wrong??!! After a while the sun managed to break through at the same spot. I still can't figure out if I initially saw the moon or it was the sun all along!

@a2j

Introducing my coffee to its brewer. I wonder what the relationship will be? Will they be friends or like employer-employees! I'm trying out a new range of coffee that has added vitamins etc which add a healthy touch to the coffee. This blend promises to give me energy and focus. But then, doesn't coffee do that always anyway!

@a2j

I'm still in awe at how a simple white flower can exude such beauty. This ?jasmine is completely white and still looks pretty - not plain. Its petals are delicate and pretty and it looks like it is twinning with the other flower. Wonder if they will be friends for life!!

@a2j

Night time at the beach. With a bit of moonlight and some light from the shore, the beach looks fascinating at night. And the sound of the beach waves in the night air is mesmerizing. There is a mix of romance and danger that is in the air and the water looks beautiful, yet treacherous. Do you like being at the beach at night?

@a2j

Tennis ball cricket anyone? While pro Cricket is played with a hard leather ball, most of us play cricket with a softer rubber or tennis ball! Tennis balls are light, bounce a lot and fly off the bat, so ball manufacturers have produced special tennis balls that are a bit heavier and more manageable bounce. It's calles the tennis cricket ball! They are such fun to play cricket with on any surface - concrete, road, sand, grass, and anywhere - playgrounds, terraces, parks,…

Coffee at lunch break. Post lunch seems to be the perfect time for a relaxed cuppa at the office desk. I use a Travel French Press to brew my coffee in 5 minutes at my desk and add some milk powder (I am not used to black coffee) and sugar. It helps beat the temptation for a post lunch snooze and gives the perfect kick to go through the rest of the day at work. #coffee #lunchbreak

@a2j

What a beauty! I believe this is called alstroemeria and is a type of Lily (based on Google - my knowledge of flowers is poor). It looks like tongues of fire on the plant and has a beautiful design on the petals and a pretty shape. I saw this in a hill station with a cool climate. I wonder if it will survive in my hometown where it is hotter.

@a2j

Is there a problem with Banano Vault? My balance is showing up as zero and there are no transactions in history. How do I find out what has happened? Is there some setting or rep that has been messed up? Or is this another node glitch?

@a2j

What is Mushroom Chick Pig? I found this dish in a restaurant buffet. It was in the vegetarian section, but I'm not too sure of this looking at the name of the dish. I've heard of chick pea - but chick pig with mushroom??!! Sounds too full of meat to be vegetarian! Any bright ideas of what this could have been??!!

@a2j

Can cycling be fun or funny? I've always been thrilled by ATBs and stunt bicycles. But this type of cycle looks like it needs a lot of skill to ride - a unicycle. The photograph is from a road show on Australia day in Adelaide a few years ago and these cycles have a small back wheel too. I wonder how easy or tough it isnti ride one of these. And also, does riding this burn more calories??!!

@a2j

After a long time we decided to whizz out for some dessert last night with some friends. We went to this new place called Bake Shack which has plenty of cakes and pastries. It took us quite some time ti decide what to have. This is the blueberry cheesecake that I had. It tastes as yummy as it looked. Cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts, but is very difficult to get where I live.

@a2j

What makes a water droplet hang on so beautifully onto a plant without falling off immediately? If I were to hang on for dear life with my arms, they would probably give up on a few minutes and I'd crash down. I'm sure there is a lot of physics like surface tension, cohesion, adhesion etc that go into making this possible for a water droplet, but it is still a wonder! And to look carefully and notice that the droplet is a lens that inverts images seen through it takes this…

@a2j

Cloudy days are back as the next low pressure system crossed the coast and then my city. It's pouring rain in the coastal regions and we have had a few drizzles already. It looks like it's gonna be a cosy, rainy weekend. Unfortunately, I'm working the weekend and can't really chill out.

@a2j

Brewing in an aeropress - 'squeezing' or 'pressing' the brew out of the Aeropress is quite a satisfying job and the rich brew that drips and flows out of the Aeropress is lovely. It ends with a slight hiss as the air gets pushed out. And then you've got black espresso in the cup. I add some frothed milk and a touch of sugar before I drink it.

@a2j

When we whizzed out for dessert with friends a couple of nights ago, this is what my 4 year old daughter chose. Cake pops! Shaped like an ice cream stick, this is cake with cream and sprinkles - she chose the sprinkles over the chocolate cake pops. After a lot of excited talk, she finished half of it before deciding she had had enough. Kids and their sudden changes in dessert moods!

@a2j

It's a rainy day, but this table rose has added a splash of color to my balcony. I couldn't capture the delicate beauty of it's petals as it was already a bit dark. But you can see how it is layered and arranged to give it a rich appearance even though it is a small flower. #flower #rainyday

@a2j

How do you impress your children in 5 minutes in the kitchen? Instant popcorn! It costs less than a dollar and takes 5 minutes to make. This popcorn is made on the stove. Just put it in a partially closed vessel and heat it on low to medium flame and it will start popping! Kids love watching it (I use a glass lid with a vent) and it gives them a tasty snack for the evening.

@a2j

Rain holiday. Even though offline classes physically in school have only started once a week this month, the rains have played havoc with that. Even though rains have been intermittent, schools have been declaring holidays for physical school. Today is a holiday again and my son will miss his only weekly classes the weather is cloudy with a threat of rain. It's disappointing.

@a2j

I thought flowers bloomed once and then faded away. Looks like I'm wrong. This table rose was bright and fully bloomed yesterday and then closed up at night. This morning, it was blooming again and the colors looked even richer and deeper. Amazing inspiration at the start of the day!

@a2j

How would you remove this basketball stuck next to the hoop? There's probably plenty of way. We had another bal and just threw it at the ball to dislodge it. Unfortunately, I can't jump that high and there was no ladder. What would you have done??!!

@a2j

I finally got down to cleaning my guitar and restringing it. I had posted earlier this month that it was lying unused and had cobwebs in it! https://noise.cash/post/18n44xq3 I found some strings and restrung it. Now it has a fresh, bright sound and I have to wait for it to settle down. I'll also need to cut off the dangling strings as I'm sure my kids will play with it and get injured. Let's hope I play it and use it better this time. #guitar #music

@a2j

A confused beginning.! We had a couple of heavy spells of rains overnight. There has been flooding in some regions in the coast. The morning left me confused - instead of the cloudy haze I was expecting, the clouds had a reddish tinge as the sun was behind the hills and ready to rise. I wonder what the rest of the day holds.

@a2j

After the bursts of rain overnight and the confused start to the day ( https://noise.cash/post/z287jg9t59z2x ), the mist came back in and hung like a garland around the hill at 8 am. The sun looks like it may win today as there are patches of blue sky opening on the west side. It will be interesting to see how the day proceeds!

@a2j

JungleTV just crashed! The Tunesday video marathon just got started and within minutes over 600 videos got queued up (wish I'd taken a screenshot). Due to some glitch, each song got queued multiple times. Admins were madly trying to mop this up and now the whole site is down! Let's see what happens when it comes back up!! Interesting scenario

@a2j

The confusing weather today continues all the way to midnight. After the mix of sun, cloudhaze and patches of blue, I was wondering how the day would end when I drive back at midnight at work. There was a steady drizzle. Within a few minutes of reaching home the heavens broke open for 5 minutes and then drastically changed back to a light drizzle. Guess it's going to be a noisy night with these sudden bursts of rain.
