Tatay's Birthday Hi there everyone! I just woke up from my peaceful sleep. The weather now is a little bit fine than the last few days. I woke up righ now because yesterday was very tiring day. It was my Tatay's 68th birthday. My father whom I loved to call tatay is a simple and loving husband to my Nanay and also to us. He is very hardworking. I still remember when I was a kid, he always went to the rice field and bring quail egg when he got home. My tatay is a farmer and at the same time fisherman. I am so proud of him and I'm looking forward to spoil him. Yesterday was his big day. He just turned 68. He doesn't look like 68 though because he was still very active in terms of works. Since Nanay left us ( she's now in heaven ), we, together woth my siblings decided to prepare him a small bithday celebration. Despite the bad weather yesterday due to the typhoon, we were able to give him a little surprise and I am sure that he was very happy. We invited his brother-in-law and give some food our neighbors. To Tatay, Thank you for being the best father to us, you have lapses and flaws but it will never change the fact how truely sincere and devoted you are in fulfilling you role as a father to us. Thank you so much for supporting us and make money to support our essential needs. I wish you good health and long long long life with us Tatay. I love you! Thank you so much for reading!

How to be HER Good day readcash fam! How's your day going? Mine isn't that productive because of the weather. It is still raining due to the low pressures in our area of responsibility but I'm still glad cause I have enough cuddle time woth my daughter. I want you all to meet Zia. She came from a not so wealthy family. Her mother works as an office clerk while her father is a public servant. She is an only one child. Despite of being the only child in her family, she has also one cousin from her mother's side, let's call her Ana. They were friends, actually they treat each other as sisters. Ana is 5-year older than Zia but age doesn't matter in terms of their closeness. When Ana went to college, she was enrolled at one of the prestigious university in the country, she took up computer engineering. Oh, and by the way, Zia and Ana has 5 aunts who are still single and devoted theirselves to stay that way, they refused to have their own family and choose to support and help their nieces ( Ana and Zia ). Ana pursued her course until the third year, they had a qualifying exam to determine if they are ready and fit to be called fgraduating students next year. Unfortunately she just got a grade of 84.8 and the passing is 85. She was very disappointed at the same time ashamed of the result. It was so close but maybe that course isn't for her. With the result, she changed and shifted to another course. She took up a business related course. She started as first year irregular student, she was very eager to passed it because she thinks that she isn't going younger and she should get a job by her age that time. On the other hand, Zia was in her last year in high school, the next year, she will attend college and wasn't still sure of the course she will be taking. The days and months flies fast, she was enrolled in a public university in their province. Not like Ana, she took up Bachelor in Secondary Education. Her aunties wasn't in favor of that. Zia tried to be good in school and she did. After four years of hardship, she graduated eith a flying color, a magna cumlaude. Her family was so proud of her all of them except her Aunties. 2 years laters, Ana got a job with a good salary considering that she stayed in the city while Zia got also a job but the salary wasn't good as Ana's. Regardless of that, they were still close friends and didn't feel any competition between them. Not until Zia got pregnant, she had a long time boyfriend. Her pregnancy wasn't good so dhe was forced to stop working for the sake of her and the baby.Though her partner supported her pregnancy, his salary isn't that enough. Zia tried to asked help from her Aunties hoping that they would her to have a laptop because she decided to do the work from home job. Unfortunately, she was rejected. Her Aunties turned their back on her. She has no choice but to save and sacrifice the budget for her vitamins and check ups to buy a laptop. Ana jumped off to a higher salary job and eventually turned out to be a scam. Yes, she worked on a company that wasn't registered and do not have a legal papers and permits. She was depressed. She even got accused to be part of the illegalities of her work and have to pay a large amount of money. She asked help from their Aunties and fortunately she got their back at this moment. They helped her to solved her problem, spending thousands of money for her without hearning bad and hurting words from them. While Zia got promoted by her job and paid higher salary received no any help from them. The only thing she received from them was hurtful words that describes how she is failure to the family, she always heard the line " You should be like Ana", " If it was Ana it was good ", " Ana is always good at everything" as if she didn't do any right. Zia questioned herself and always got the answer of " I will never be good enough for them, whatever I do, they will never appreciate me even when I reached my dreams". Later that night, she received a phone call from Ana asking if she can lend her some money. Without any hesitation, she send her the amount she was asking for. 1 week later, she received a videocall from her Aunties nagging about how stupid she was for choosing her job right now than used her degree and be a teacher. She, again heard the lines " You should do the same as Ana ". She got pissed and full of those and asked them, " How to be her? Can't I asked myself how to be me? ". After that call, she received again nothing from her aunties but the silence. She realized that she is good enough for her and that she is contented with what she is and what she have right now. Now, Zia has 3 kids and happily married with her loving husband. She is still close with her cousin Ana and have a cold treatment with her Aunties. She believed that the right time will come that they will realized her worth, not Ana but Her, ZIA's worth.
Her 4th Birthday April 5,2022 Hello everyone! It's been a while since I the last time I wrote for this platform. Anyways, I missed you all and your lovely and wonderful articles. How are you? How's the weather? In my location, it's raining and it's very cold. Regardless of how's the weather, I hope everyone is doing fine and enjoying the moment. Last April 02,2022 it was a big day for my lovely daughter. She turned 4 just like that. I mean I can't believe that she is now 4 years old. I could still remember my first visit to the doctor when I found out that I was pregnant until I undergone labor. The first time I held her in my arms to let her feel my love for her. Time flies so fast, I realized that it was four years ago. April 2,2018 This was the day I delivered my baby girl via normal delivery. I want to share to you, how she helped me not to suffer too much pain during my labor. It was Easter Sunday that time around 10pm I had experienced discharge that served to be a symptom when you are on labor so my sister rushed me to the hospital where I planned to be admitted but sad to say they won't accept me not until I contacted my doctor. The doctor was still iin her holy week vacation that time, lucky that she was in her way home from Cebu. We have no choice but to home too and wait for to arrived. April 2,2018 at 3am, the pain is unbearable so they rushed me again to the hospital hoping that my doctor can be contacted, thanks God, when we arrived at the hospital the doctor called the hospital to accept me and prepare the delivery room. The nurses told me to monitor the time between the contractions, they insisted that its not yet ready to deliver and we have to wait until its 8cm. The contractions became more painful so I decided to asked if can I go already to the delivery room. They let me entered and lay down and just like that when my doctor came, I pushed hard so I can deliver my baby safely. I was so happy that time, it was the first moment that I can fully called my self a mother. Prior to her birthday, I planned a small birthday part for her that suited our budget. Her party was simple and her visitors were just our neighbors and her playmates. She requested that she wanted to have a birthday cake which is color purple because its her favorite color, due to tight budget, I challege myself to grant her cake. I personally made her birthday cake and I was so happy that my daughter appreciated it regardless of it's imperfections Haha. The foods during her birthday were spaghetti, shanghai lumpia, fried chicken, rice cake, puto cheese and pancit, for our dessert we had tapioca. It was prepared by the help of our kind neighbors. They were very supportive to my daughter and I am very thankful to them. To my daughter, Happy birthday love! Thank you for coming into our lives and giving us joy, hope and smiles everytime we are down. Continue to be a good girl and always listen to your family. Always seek for his guidance and don't forget to pray. Always remember that we are always here for you all through out your journey, you can always lean and count on us everytime and in every situation. I love you so much my little one. Again, happy happy birthday!

Leafy Morning March 25,2022 Hello there everyone! How are you all today? Hope everybody is doing fine. How about the weather? What are your thoughts about it? Are you okay with the sunny in the morning and rainy in the afternoon? How about your work? Does the weather and your current situation affects your job? Well, whatever your preference is, I just hope that everyone will be productive today. I started my day with a smile as I went to our garden. It's not actually our own garden because it's more like an organization of farmers in our community. We were assigned to take care of plots and we are free to choose whatever vegetable we are going to plant. After the super typhoon devastated our homes and garden, farmers started to fix and clean each plots as the vegetables in the market increase its price. This is one of the reason why farmers in our community tries to rebuild the ruined plots and started planting new one. As for our plots, we decided to plant Pechay because it's one of thhe easiest vegetable to plant. The first thing that we did was cleaning the plot because there were fallen trees and branches all over, not to mention the grass and other plants that grow because of the almost 3 months of being abandoned. We exerted full force in cleaning so that we can catch up with the other plot owners because they already cleaned their respective plots and already planted with their preferred seeds. Second, as we cleaned each plots, some of us get organic fertilizers such as animal manure, coconut peat and rice hulls. We incorporated these in the garden soil to have a good result. Now, as we started cleaning the plots we also took care of the seedling so that if the plots were ready for planting the seedlings were be ready too. After mixing the garden soil with the organic fertilizers and the seedlings were enough to be transferred, it is now time to plant. March 5 when we transferred the seedlings into the plots. Everydays we go to the garden to see if there's wrong or need to be replaced as there are also insects in the garden that eats the leaves of the seedling. Watering of the plants and making sure that the soil is still smooth for the roots to crawl to is my daily routine. Every morning we go to the farm because it's a little far from our house and it takes almost 15 minutes of walking. Never did I felt tired of this routine because everytime I went to check, I am happy because they grow and bloom everyday and aside from that it's my way of doing exercise. Here's the result of our work everyday. The plant grows healthy. Few days from now this will be ready for harvesting. I am just so proud that I did a good job in planting and taking care of it. Here's also our neighbor's plot. They also planted Pechay and we almost have the same time of harvesting. I am glad that each farmers possess teamwork, though we have different plots, we never tend forget to help each other in growing and taking care of each plants. In this garden, it's not just the plants we grow but also the friendship and the concern for each and everyone. Through this, we can eat nutritious and fresh vegetables without buying and spending money. Just patience and hard works and you'll be able to do it too. Thanks for reading! Until next time.

5 facts You Didn't Know About Me March 18,2022 Hi there everyone! I hope everybody is doing great right now. I just got home from our barangay auditorium because there's one non-government organization choose our barangay to be their beneficiary. They distributed shelter kits, solar lanterns and kitchen sets. The distribution of the kits were based on what is the most needed help per family. They conducted surveys and interviews before having a list.As for our family, we received shelter kits that includes nails and corrugated aluminum sheet(often seen used in roofing). We are so happy and thankful for this early blessing we received and thankful also to those kind hearted people behind. This is surely a big help for all of us in recovering from the damage brought by the typhoon Odette. So much for that, I am excited to share to you 5 facts about myself. 5 facts 1.) I'm a CHEESE LOVER - I love any kinds of cheese and any foods with it. I like to add cheese in almost foods and dishes I prepare. My family finds it weird because there's one time that I was told to cook adobo and what I did was, I put cheese on it. The taste was very yummy and cheesy. Whenever I eat macaroni salad, I always look for the cheese only and disregard its other ingredients. My partner is working in one of the famous pizza store and one time I requested if I can order a pizza with just cheese and pineapple as a toppings, luckily it was possible by the help of my partner and it feels like heaven. I don't know but I find cheese as one of the very tummy and tasty food in this world. It's taste combined perfectly with almost all desserts and dishes. 2.) I DON'T LIKE/EAT BEEF - I don't eat beef in short. It started it when my family went into a small restaurant and we orders different dished one of them was beef caldereta. It looked very yummy that's why I am tempted to taste it. I suddenly vomited because of its taste, smell and the grease it left on my mouth. Others will say that beef is yummy, well I won't argue because we have different taste and preference. Just for me, I don't prefer to eat beef and as much possible I will never taste it again. Its like I'm having this allergic reaction whenever I eat this one.Again, please do not hate me for disliking beef if you think its very yummy for you lol. 3.) I am an avid fan of Deanna Wong- She is a Chinese Filipino volleyball player from Cebu, she is a member of one of the famous University in the country. I first saw her during her rookie days way back 2016. I stalked and followed her social media to be updated about her. I know most of her whereabouts and I really admire her as an athlete and as a woman. It's like my job to collect all her photos that can be seen in social media and google. 4.) I would rather shop for kitchen gadgets than clothes or shoes. Before , I always go for shoes but right now, I prefer collecting kitchenwares and kitchen gadgets. It's very interesting to have a complete kitchen gadget. In my part, I will be motivated to cook and prepare meals if I have these kinds of gadgets. 5.) I love fictional movies- Even if I already have a daughter, my preference about movie genre didn't change. I love to watch movies about superheroes, vampires, gods and goddesses, aliens and super magics. I can stand watching it in a whole day without getting bored. There's so much more to share about my life next time. Thank you for reading!

Childhood Plan March 17,2022 Hello read.cash family! How are you all? It's still raining today and we didn't able to visit our small farm as we planned due to the lazy weather. Speaking of plan, what are your plans during your childhood days? Just this morning, my daughter talked about her plans on her 4th birthday party. I was amazed by how concrete her plans were. First, she told me that she wanted to have a children's party and invite her friends and playmates. Next, the foods and the desserts she said to be her favorites like ice cream, strawberry cake, brownies and candies. Third, was her dress on her birthday, she wanted to wear something lavender for her favorite cartoon character is Sofia the first. Lastly, she planned to have a children's game which will be supervised by her godmother. As a mother, I was pressured for where am I going to get funds for her plans?Lol. But so much for that, I am very happy and proud for even in her early age she can create a simple plan for herself. I remembered my youngself, I had a lot of plans during my childhood. My first childhood plan was to finished my studies and to become a successful woman. Well, I wasn't specific in which track I like to be successful to. All I want to be in that time is to have a lot of money so that I can buy whatever toys I would like to buy not thinking that when I reached that time, I may not be interested with toys anymore. Second plan was to take nursing course. I was asked why I wanted to be a nurse? I just simply answered the most honest answer I had that time and that was because I like to see myself wearing a white uniform and attending confined patients. I've seen nurses before and I admired their neatness and cleanliness, I wanted to wear their uniforms. Third, I planned to go to the nearest city to buy food in a fast food chain not thinking that I would need money to be able to buy something. I wanted to eat their fried chicken, fries and burger because I've seen their advertisement and it looked so yummy. Next, I planned to learned taekwondo. I don't exactly remember the reason why I planned to learn this thing, all I knew was that I might looked cool. With all those plans, my greatest plan was to be a woman with the power to create change in her surrounding. Yes! That was included already in my childhood plan. To be someone that other woman can lean to, to be independent and to be strong in any aspects. Well, I guess I didn't accomplished all of my childhood plans. I am not yet that successful, I took and finished a degree in BS Education instead of Nursing and I wasn't able to learned taekwondo but guess what , I am now a mother of one lovely daughter, I learned so many things in life, I became independent and hopefully be strong in any aspects of my life as I continue my journey in this world. Our goals may not be accomplished and achieved as what we planned but always remember that whatever your plans are, always do it with a prayer and always asked for HIS guidance because we aren't alone in this journey, we are always accompanied by someone really powerful and has greatest plan for us. Thank you so much for reading. Until next time!
Whisk Taker March 16,2022 Good morning read.cash family! Just this morning as I scrolled at my phone's gallery I saw photos of my favorite activities during my leisure time. Hobbies We have different hobbies depends on our interests, personalities and capabilities. Some would always love to play sports. I admire those sporty type of people, those who can lift their feet easily, rans fast, jumps high and even their "suave" moves. There are also who loves to write stories, poems, and even reading novels. Well, salute to them! They are the type of people who travelled the world and universe without spending money. Some would always love how to move and groove, sing and others loves to draw and paint. As of today, I noticed that being on social media, playing video games and vlogging were mostly love by everyone especially our teenagers. What I love the most? My hobbies changed when I reached the age of 20. Before, I loved to sing and dance, but as I aged 20, I suddenly found myself interested with baking and cooking foods. I am a self-proclaimed chef. I learned how to bake cakes and other pastries according to what's trending. I love to explore ingredients and trying out different desserts and pastries. I still remembered when I attented my friend's wedding, I put all kinds of desserts on my plate and they all laughed at me thinking that I am that hungry but later they knew that I was just tasting each of desserts just to have an idea on how it was made or baked. I love collecting kitchenwares and baking tools. It was heaven for me when I completed all the piping tips for cake decorating. Others asked me where did I learned to bake cakes, did I enrolled myself in a culinary school? Well, thanks to Youtube and Facebook. Yes, you read it right. I just learned how to make cakes through these social platforms but I always wanted to enroll in a culinary school because I know that there are still so many to improve. I made this cake for my daughter's playmate. It was a 2 tier chocolate moist cake with buttercream frosting. I know it's not perfect but I am so proud to have an outcome just like this. It's a Paw Patrol themed cake because it's the birthday boy's favorite. This was my 3rd time making a 2 tier Paw Patrol themed cake. It was my first time making rainbow themed cake. It's a spongecake cake with a rainbow flavors and colors inside frosted with buttercream frosting. It was for my niece on her 6th birthday. I was so nervous while making this because I was just given 5 hours to make this one good thing I already a stocked ingredients for this. My niece was so happy when I delivered it and me myself felt happy too because I know it's not that perfect but atleast they appreciated my efforts in doing it. And just as that, I made my small business and it's called Lay's Whisk 'n Cakes. Friends and family supported my hobbies and even my small time business. Sadly, I wasn't able to accept orders at this moment for all of my things and paraphernalias were lost and ruined by the devastating super typhoon Odette. I am just hoping to have another set of baking tools soon. Thank you for reading until here!

Morning Feels March 10, 2022 This morning, I suddenly missed my Nanay , not that I don't miss her everyday but what I felt earlier was very different. I really just wanted to hug and kiss her. I lost her last May 9,2017 , my last memory with her is very precious to me.Let me share it with you. I am the youngest among four siblings, 12 years gap from my Kuya, I was treated like a baby by my Nanay. My grade school life is like eating a cotton candy, it was just soft and sweet, I never experienced to have hard times because Nanay was always there for me. She never obliged me to do most of the household chores, I wasn't proud of that seeing that my childhood friend can already do that in our early age but I didn't mind, I just thought Nanay loves me so much and maybe she doesn't want me to get tired or maybe it's not still the right time to learn that for I was just in grade school. I love my Nanay so much and God knows how thankful I am for having her as my mother. When I studied college, she wanted me to take her dream course for me I was just so eager to make her happy so I took it for her and never complained. I have my boarding house but I went home almost thrice a week just to see my Nanay, I can't stand being away from home for a week without her. Everytime I went home, the first thing I would do is to hug and kiss her( yes, It may sound weird knowing that I am in college that time but still wants to be treated as a little girl ). I just wanted to be near with her always, gladly ,because Nanay was still sweet to me. Whenever we were in the kitchen to prepare meal, she danced with me just like a little girl and thatbwas heaven for me. Her hugs, kisses and even just her presence is like a heaven to me. In short, I considered my self lucky. Until May 05,2017 that was summer vacation. Nanay was just talking with her bestfriend outside our house while I was preparing the dinner when suddenly her friend called out that Nanay can't talk and move and wasn't responding to us. She was conscious but can't responded to what we were saying. We rushed her to the hospital and found out that left side of her body was paralyzed. I was so devastated at the same time scared for the what ifs that time, but I bever showed her my weakness. I tried to be strong for her, I was hands on in taking care of her while waiting for my siblings to come home. It was just me and Tatay that time and I strongly believed that Nanay can pass through that challenge, knowing her she was a fighter and I am so proud of her. May 8,2017 at exactly 1pm , the doctor suggested that Nanay should undergo CT scan unfortunately it was not available in the said hospital so she was referred to a more equipped hospital. May 09,2017 3:00pm After her CT scan, we went back to the hospital to wait for the result. I was told to eat my lunch although I wasn't hungry. 2:50pm I received a phone call, I didn't waste any second I immediately went back to the hospital just to witnessed how my Nanay fought really hard for life, I was so scared that it might be the last moment of her life. I went to her, hugged and kissed her with all my heart. I told her not to be scared when in fact I myself was very frightened on what's gonna. I know deep in my heart that Nanay was already tired but I just couldn't let her go, not yet. I have so many dreams for her and I want her to witnessed every milestone of my life. I could still remember her glanced at me in the hardest time of her life, I felt sorry for I was being selfish that I only cared for my feelings. I told her that I will be okay and that I will be strong, I told her how much I loved her and how much I want to be with her all the time but if she was tired, I am now letting her to rest. My words were like a trigger, after just a few minutes, Nanay took her eternal rest, leaving me devastated. It was nightmare for me. To wake up each day without her, to leave home and went back without her, to be in the kitchen without her, to do everything knowing that she will never be there to hug and kiss me. But part of me was happy thinking that she will not suffer anymore. I know God has a good plan for Nanay better than mine, so I surrendered it all to him. I might not have any chance to see and talk to her but I know in my heart , the memories we shared will forever live and that I am contented with that. To my Nanay, thank you so much. I can't find the perfect word to describe how grateful I am to you. I know that you are always with me in every step. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH Nanay and I miss you big time. I just can't wait to finally see you again.

Greatest Blessing Everything is a blessing. The moment you wake up, the moment you breath, even the moment you cry is a blessing. Blessing comes in many forms, sometimes we mistaken it as a burden but later on we realized that it's a blessing in disguise. Everything is a blessing, it only depend on how we appreciate things. These are few blessing that I am very thankful for: My family - They are my refuge. In the face of tough times, they always offer love, emotional support and encouragement. Their love is unconditional. The source of my strength and weakness. They never failed to show their support and guidance as I took my journey to life. My true friends - One of the shoulders I could always lean on. TRUE for they never leave in times of downfall, they always got my back and so am I to them. I made mistakes, they never tolerated my wrong doings and decisions but never turned their back at me. My health - Health is wealth. We cannot do everything if we are not healthy. At this times, given that we are still dealing with the health crisis ( pandemic ) it is very important to keep our selves healthy not just for us but also to our loved ines who depends on us. Food - Source of our energy and nutrients. Foods that keeps us energized as we face the everyday blessing. My teachers/mentors - For teaching me the knowledge that is required to be competent in this world. My second parent as I go out of my home to explore some things especially in terms of education. The opportunities I've been given - For letting me experienced the things that helped and molded me as a person. Opportunities that helped me grow amd discover things about myself and the world I am living in. Challenges that help me grow - Problems and circumstances that developed the mature side of me. Challenges that tried to destroy all of me but at the end of the day made me realized that I needed it to be who I become today. My senses - Not all of us has give complete senses, that's why I am also thankful for I can truly see, hear, feel, smell and taste the beauty of the world and appreciate the people that surrounds me. Making people laugh - I want to be other people's reason to laugh amd smile. Seeing them laugh because of me makes me feel blessed and thankful for somehow, I am also a blessing to them. Seeing beauty everywhere - Trying to always see the silver linings in every situation. Look at the beauty of every dark and sad times and be positive in every angle. And most of all; My daughter - She is my greatest gift. The reason of my everything. The sunshine of my morning, the stars of my nights and the direction of my life. Here's a cute photo of my greatest blessing. Having her means having endless love in this world. She inspires me to do and be the best in every way. This little girl also means happiness not just in my life but to the whole family. This was taken during our Sunday family bonding before typhoon Odette. Here's our remembrance photo of the typhoon Odette. We were still in the evacuation center at this moment because our house was fully devastated by the typhoon, we have no other choice but to stay in here while we were trying to find ways to rebuild the house. In this dark moment of my life, I still found some hope in the persona of this bubbly girl, she lightens every situations, made us laugh with her jokes and simple gestures. I still considered the typhoon as a blessing because we were able to spend time together and test our capabilities in handling situations like this.Whenever we felt tired and lossing hope, she immediately became our stress reliever. She became the stars during our darkedt nights. Indeed typhoon Odette affected us truly that others lost their hopes but faith keeps us strong and believed that we were not given problems we cannot bear. As I lived this life, I learned to be thankful of all the blessings before it was gone. To say thank you to the people and letting them feel how blessed I am for having them before its all too late. Making them feel how important they are to me. Let's try to appreciate the tiny and big things that happens in our life. Always look on the bright side. What about you? What's your greatest blessing?
