Not trying to be political with this one but this does feel like what we are doing. I had a conversation with the nurse changing my bandages after my surgery about how did we get this far as a species given our history & only recent understanding of medicine as far as human history goes. When we were all killing each other in viking raids or during the crusades. When the world popular was only a few million why did we not get wiped put by a splinter if such small things can be so deadly?
