The term NFT has already been corrupted by corporate capitalism in place of any form of digital art. Todd McFarlane announced he will be launching a Spawn NFT & it's not on a blockchain but a private app. Is an NFT without a blockchain still an NFT? This seems like another example of them corrupting buzzwords without understanding how the technology actually works.
