Ingredients:
Makhan (Butter) 1 tbs
Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 tbs
Pyaz (Onion) sliced 1 small
Band gobhi (Cabbage) shredded 2 Cups
Gajar (Carrots) julienne ½ Cup
Tamatar (Tomato) chopped 1 medium
Yakhni (Stock) low sodium 3 Cups or as required
Pink salt ½ tsp or to taste
Haldi powder (Turmeric powder) 2 pinches
Dried basil leaves ½ tsp
Dried oregano 1 tsp
Instant oats ¼ Cup
Water ½ Cup or as required
Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp
Lemon juice 1 tbs
Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2 tbs
Hara pyaz (Green onion) leaves chopped
Directions:
In a pot,add butter & let it melt.
Add garlic & mix well for a minute.
Add onion & mix well.
Add cabbage,carrot,tomato,mix well & stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
Add stock,mix well & bring it to boil.
Add pink salt,turmeric powder,dried basil leaves,dried oregano and mix well,cover & cook on low flame for 8-10 minutes.
In spice mixer,add instant oats and grind to make powder.
In a bowl,add ground oats and water and mix well.
Now add dissolved oats mixture,mix well and cook until soup is thick (approx. 2-3 minutes).
Add black pepper crushed,lemon juice,fresh coriander & mix well.
Garnish with lemon slice,green onion leaves & serve hot!
