Wonder Why? Wonder why? I wander or wonder, whichever it is I'm too lost, too far away in it. Constables for portables, wonder why? Just in a daze, to feel the pace And that rock to maze, tends to raze. This poem seems off, though I'm still writing, it about you being lost in your thought or mind. Solat'l Asri As-salam alaikum waramotullah. I hope this meets you well. I have just finished observing my Solat'l Asri (Alhamdullilah) I'll like to share the wonders behind observing the ASRI Solat. Alhamdullilah Robil-alamin, the speciality of the Asri Solat has been pronounced ever since the Five Obligatory Daily Prayers have been sent to us. It's a blessing, especially when we observe our Solat at the right time. Some minutes ago the call to prayer was made and every Muslim around who must have heard the call hastened to mosque. I can tell, yes. It's a view I can not ignore, the congregation. And we performed Solat. I am not bragging please, it is the joy in my heart that makes me announce it to you. May Allah reward you for reading and myself for praying and writing. Let's get to the point. Solat'l Asri, as an Islamic day starts at sunset, the Asri prayer is technically the fifth prayer of the day. If counted from midnight, it is the third prayer of the day. So we as practising Muslims are expected to perform everyday and at their due time without hesitation but with Joy and Happiness. Don't forget, that is our No. 1 purpose on planet being. One of the greatest blessings for every Muslim is to enter into Paradise. Whoever offers the Fajr and Asri prayers enters the Jannah. Asri prayer saves from the Hell and opens the door of Jannah. Those who offer Asr prayer will have success in life as well as in the Hereafter. -arshadtalks Offering the Asr prayer is an opportunity for the Muslims to repent and return to the way of Allah Almighty. Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran. "...and turn to Him repentant. He will cause you to enjoy a fair estate until a time appointed. He giveth His bounty unto every bountiful one. But if ye turn away, lo! (then) I fear for you the retribution of an awful Day." Quran, 11:3 Asr prayer is witnesses by Angels. - quranreading And finally to round up with as to our daily search for the good things on earth 'Asr prayer makes us become more discipline to ourselves and our life become more organized. The above mentioned are some of the lovely benefits of Asr prayer. Every Muslim must endeavour to offer five daily prayers regularly and at their specified time. May Allah make it easy for us. Amin

Life of A Student We have resumed after such a long time. You can imagine what a student should go through after seven months of inactivity. I and my coursemate really didn't know what we had come for. Though we were happy to meet ourselves again. It just happens that it is the way it is. That same day of resumption the department's president was came into our lecture hall to brief us about the status of academic activities. It was as a surprise to us to hear that a curriculum which was meant to be undertaken for three months was set to be accomplished in four weeks. At that moment, I could tell that to things were going to ba a bit difficult because neither myself nor my coursemates were ready for the tough schedule that await us. Minutes after the department's president's report, two lecturers came in arguing about whom should take our class. I felt they should have planned themselves, at least a new academic timetable should have been issued to complement the present academic predicament in the school. Being a fresher, I realised that we had no say other than to keep our mouths closed and watch as things unfold. We are to offer eight courses that are determined stringent to our programme in the school. I was not ready for the rush because had not secured an hostel on campus so I had to go to school and make my way back home everyday. I could tell that there is a lot in store for us, very much unimaginable to our minds. We were rushed, assignments to complete, projects to submit, test to prepare for, not forgetting that we had to defend our assignments and research works. We did our best to fit in, it has not been easy but I can tell that today, we wrote our second exam paper. Yesterday when we wrote the first one, after the paper I got to meet with my coursemates outside the examination hall. We waited to compliment ourselves and wish ourselves best of luck. But today was different, although I finished late, I couldn't meet one of them. Even the WhatsApp group chat that was lively yesterday got no updates when I got back to my phone. It means something must have happened today, probably the exams did not go well for some of them. I can feel it. I really hope we all get a good result to ourselves. I am presently at the school mosque, I can't go home because I have exams through this week and through the next. Also transportation fare is also on the higher side. I guess you understand. A lot of students are going through this same predicament, I know we are all trying but with the way things are. I can only hope for better. Chinese side is the fastest update.

Sheila was in a coma. Nurses were in her room giving her a sponge bath. One of them was washing her private area, and noticed that there was a response on the monitor,when she touched her. They went to her husband Bruce and explained what happened, telling him,"Crazy as this sounds maybe a little oral sex, will do the trick and bring her out of the coma." Bruce was skeptical, but they assured him, that they'd close the curtains for privacy. He finally agreed and went into his wife's room. After a few minutes the woman's monitor flat lined, no pulse, no heart rate. The nurses ran into the room. "What happened?" Bruce replied, "I guess she choked."

Don't Leave Me Challenge If to hold a lamp, my hand must be hard. Does that make me "LAMPHARD"(Lampard) DLM!!! Because I went to the supermarket, to only ask for Water, then I bought the packages I like. Does that make me Water BoughtAll (Water Bottle). In my language when you want to say our friend Cort had died, we say "Cort ti Ku". Does that make him "CUTICLE". In mye language when you say dirty things like, go fuck a witch. It is translated as (do ko witch) but does that make "DJOKOVIC" Last night my neighbour got jealous of his little brother, their mother told them "the little boy is in his clever age" . But does that make him "CLEAVAGE" This is the latest trend of humour in the African region and it has spread quite around the continent with the style bringing smile in people faces and also shaking the internet and social media. The Art of Freelance Photography I had always loved the art of keeping memories in picture form, they'll always be there to remind you of moment. You know, a static picture with so much story to tell, so much information, so much details. That's the power photography holds. I will share tips on getting hold of a camera and taking perfect shots without professional experience. I started freelance photography in 2018 and below are the basics to it; When I started I really wanted to become a professional and now I'm getting better at it. Stock Photography You could specialise in any of the above, but I engage in all genres. Basically, the first thing you need to join in the freelance Photography race is to make your choice on which genre you would like to work on. Making the choice would not be easy because there is a lot of task attached to being a freelance photographer. Starting with no luxuries, higher risks and many other unforseen circumstances. You need to be registered and you also play the role of each of your company's management team. Company Registration: After making your choice on how you want to freelance in the photography world. Get registered as a legal entity, it is quite simple here in Nigeria, since you are a mobile hub on wheels. All you need to do is go online to the Corporate Affairs Commission website, create an account, register as a sole proprietor under the "Business Name" category. Equipment: As a photographer you would need tools, basically movable equipments and not fixed ones. The essential equipments are good for a start e.g a camera, portable lightening and so on. As you continue on your chosen profession, you get to know the limits of this equipments and want to upgrade. Have a mentor: This could be someone who does what you're going into, that you'll look up to for advice or follow in his/her footstep. A freelance photographer to be precise. Be professional: You have to be professional at all times. Unlike some other professions, being a photographer requires you to be at your best at all times, always ready for action and for work Work Smart: Be calm at all time, you might need to meditate once in a while to get you mind aligned with your body and activities. So when it comes to working, you should be smart with everything you do and not drag on long issues. Be confident, Be brave and be successful. You should be clean always, you know as the saying goes "you should dress the way you want to be addressed". Also don't forget you're on freelance, you should motivate yourself with incentives after work. And try to reach out on other sources of income and not rely on photography alone. Be smart! These attributes are purely basics for everyone who intends to start-up a journey in Freelance Photography. "The sky is big enough for every bird to fly" they say. Stop Procrastination Procrastination: The art or preferably I would say, "The science of postponing, delaying o putting off out of habitual laziness and carelessness". Yes, that expression on your face tells that you know that "ACT". You know the act of extension, you know the act of weariness, you know the act of God Knows When. Procrastination, is a what haunts me and you, it has the effect that makes us see so much ease in our doings. We tend to carry out activities at our will, making excuses to miss bringing to reality that plan that seems tedious. This act has led to the death of several dreams, goals, visions, relationships, families and intentions. It has even led to destruction and sometimes inability to complete tasks that are envisioned to have great outcomes. This is a problem and needs to get turned over. Procrastination is the devil's tool, it gets hacked into our C.P.U (Brain) we tend to forget and forgo the prize at the end of our dreams for little distractions that won't last. There are seven ways to get rid of this bad habit and I'll list them in the next paragraph. Let us all make us of this suggestions to support our achieving feats that we feel can never be dealt with. Ways to stop procrastinating: Write down this has you like to do, have or achieve on a goal card.(or a jotter). Always check this every morning and make proclamations of faith afterwards helping your self believe that you will do it. Set your priorities right by helping yourself instill the ability to do things at the right time. Use the power of meditation when you can, you can start with a 5 minutes session. Help yourself breakdown your tasks into simple ones to make them achievable. Always set time to take breaks, so you don't work yourself up. Use incentives to motivate yourself into putting more effort in your activities. Luckily, this steps are as easy to carry out as reading the alphabets A-Z. You should endeavour to kill the act in you. #No Procrastination.

No Pain No Gain Everyone must have heard of this phrase, usually used mostly at gyms, libraries and other locations where people are expected to put efforts into achieve good results. I first heard this phrase in a movie titled "Pain and Gain". Though they sound similar but really, after watching the movie and learning from their flaws and successes, I got to understand what high spirits the phrase can drive into a person. Pain- everyone understands what this feels like, even a little child knows this feeling(but might not necessarily know that it is called pain and definitely feels pain). Pain as defined by one of my dictionaries is; "The condition or fact of suffering or anguish as opposed to pleasure". While, Gain- everybody knows this brings happiness, whether gain in form of money either as reward for work done or gifts, acts of kindness from people, achievements of success in our endeavours and many more targets achieved that makes us smile, giving us the "yes, I did it feeling". No Pain, No Gain: Back to the phrase, now that we understand better the words Gain and Pain stand for, the phrase in "No Pain, No Gain" serves as a life rule, Identifying and Describing how the road to success looks like tell every listener that efforts which might seem hard, are seeds that you sow to reap the gains which are fruits that'll blossom as rewards. We have seen testimonies in various facets of livelihood, from the cases of people like Steve Jobs who began his company in a garage, and never gave up(pain) at which he eventually got rewarded with success he enjoys today(gain). There are various stories to testify to this rule as being effective, especially from most of our parents. Let us all employ this phrase into our daily activities, use it as a Mantra to keep us going during hard times. To serve as a buzz call when we feeling weary at a job. To motivate our spirits back to its original state of mind. The Mind of Success, the mind of an achiever, the mind of creativity and innovation. Where is the center of the earth? First and foremost I'll take the chance to remind you that the earth is spherical in shape almost round like a football. But where would you say is the center of of a football. The center of it wouldn't be on the body or shield, it will be correct to say it is the indefinite space or middle inside the foot ball. That is the center of it. Likewise when it comes to declaring where the center of the earth. A lot of claims have being raised naming one of these long list of places as the center of the earth, from Jerusalem to Mecca, Babylon or some place in the Himalayas to be centre of the Earth, even adding Israel, Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Nepal to the list. The earth is a floating circle, the middle of it would be the perfect center of the earth. Think about it, if a circle was drawn on a flat surface, it will be easy to decide or declare a point in the middle of that circle as it's center. The center of an object is a point in some sense in the middle of the object (this includes the earth and a circle). Take for instance; Take in another instance, the earth is a flat surface, here it will be easy to identify where the center lies, it could be depicted easily on any atlas map to be located as the popular null Island. Here is another example from a flat surfaced map; It should be obvious bat this point that if I stand here in Africa trying bro stare directly at the center of the earth. I would only look straight towards the curved part of the earth, which makes me see the sky meeting with land as the end of my sight. Assuming I could see past that point, I would be staring not continuously from the curved part where my sight ended but directly into the universe. Now, the center of the earth being spherical, a shape that doesn't stop turning, floating on magnetic waves has its center at what is scientifically called the "Earth Core". This should be evident to let you know that the center or middle of the earth isn't on the surface. But within the inner space of the planet. Farewell to the Point System Lately, there has been improvements on every section of the Read.Cash channel. Should we really call them improvements, corrections or loopholes. I'll pick loopholes, because the read.cash team never expected them. Finding the loopholes has really helped in keeping the balance on the platform. What are these loopholes? Your Income: A Seed or A fruit? Do you work to earn money? Do you receive a lot of gift in form of cash, bank transfers or Cryptocurrencies in your wallet? Do you have a savings plan? What do you think the money you get is actually for? Earning money has become a norm, even much more of a necessity. Everyone even kids under the age of 18 all have started thinking about how to make money. I'm not saying it is bad. You should stay engaged to this page to know where I am driving at. That was the reason why money was created, that was the need it met on after creation. For everyone leaving in the 21st century, we should ask ourselves the reasons/need behind our making money before embarking on that journey. Yes, it is a journey. A journey unending, that has never been witnessed to the end in all of existence. Who is it that has or knows someone who has been to the mighty end of the journey on making money? Even the richest man in the world still needs money. Back to business: the money you earn, whether as salary or allowance or you receive this as a gift or grant, how do you see your earnings? Is it as a Fruit or as a Seed. A Fruit in what sense? You might ask. A person could see his earning as a fruit if his major aim of making money is to spend on expenses after receipt. While another person could see his earnings as a seed if he aims to invest his revenue into another source of income. I hope you get my point.? We all should aim at setting aside at most 65% to 70% of our earnings into creating an alternative sources of income, thereby procuring a second revenue stream which will strengthen ones financial capacity. Take for instance, who would you preclude with greater assurance to be in a wonderful situation or condition in five years from now? a. The man who earns and depends sole on his monthly salary. OR b. The man who receives a salary and also earns revenue from two other businesses which he started two years ago by setting aside little part of his earned salary. You is sure to pick B. Why, because he has created for himself other streams of revenue. Even if his employer refuses to pay him salary, he would be doing great unlike the man in A. We are all implored to work on ourselves, our saving habit, spending habit and also investment habit. May the universe comply with our wishes by God's grace. Godspeed.

Blood Group and Covid-19 It is not new that there are connections between a person's blood group and certain diseases. It has already been observed that people with blood group 0 are less likely to develop cardiovascular diseases than other blood group types, while those with blood group AB are less likely to have high blood pressure. The causes of these relationships have not yet been clarified. Likewise the Novel Covid-19 has its seperate effect on different blood groups. Starting from the blood group A, to AB and then to O. Studies are yet to determine the absolute risks associated with the various blood groups for severe Covid 19 disease on average. The results match the results of two other studies from half way around the world that had examined the blood of Covid 19 patients. "These two groups examined people serologically, we came from the genetic side, bringing additional evidence. What you need to know is that accordingly, people with the most common blood group A have an almost 50 percent higher risk of developing a severe infection than those with other blood groups. According to the study, people with blood group 0 have a 50 percent lower risk of serious Covid 19 disease. Yes, so whether your blood group type has been diagnosed to strong or you heard from your Biology teacher that they are the strongest. You should still take care of yourself self and stay safe.

The balance sheet of rent after the Pandemic. More property, less investment, cheaper rents Plans by various housing agents, home owners, real estate agents, brokers and investors were crash during the stay at home rule that can from no where. Some are trying to make things work but no way, I don't see a what they can do till things set in back to their old or better ways. And only then would it hit the world housing market with full force, cause the landlords to lose billions and cause the cooperative and private construction of new apartments in the city to collapse. Even rent increases due to modernization, which has been the order for a very long time everywhere until last year, when the outburst of Corona Virus set in. In doing so, the tenant association also confirms a development that owners' associations have warned: Because of the cover, administrators will no longer invest in their properties, or only the bare minimum. We can only pray that things get better.

Our Rights as Workers Workers' rights are human rights. Workers are the driving force of society: they maintain public services, build infrastructure, and produce food and medicine for us. We are entitled to decent working conditions and a safe and healthy workplace. In order to protect these rights, workers must have the right to speak freely, assemble, form trade unions and collective bargaining. Workers' rights are a global issue. In every economic sector in the world, the health and life of millions of workers exposed to hazardous materials, and the health and life of their families and communities are in great danger. Chemicals used in the electronics industry that have not undergone proper risk assessments, and construction and mining departments have failed to provide appropriate equipment to allow workers to inhale toxic dust: For these reasons and similar situations, a wide range of occupational diseases have occurred, with one worker killed every 30 seconds. Lady like Mazee LolOn that day everyone had woken up from their sleep. We must have said our prayers. Everyone had one thing on mind. The next big article on Read.Cash would be from me!. Yes, we must have muttered that in our minds even before picking our mobile phones, switching on our personal computers. Good morning, good morning, good morning was the celebration for getting together at that minute. We have a new member in our Writers Club.."MAZEE" she is called. Who could this be, I wondered. Please follow the instructions were the next command from the group admin. I set out to make findings on who it is. Damn! she's beautiful, her lovely smile could make one trip over paper. And yet just as one would insinuate from her looks, she started showing energy, putting all she's got into her writings. She must have impressed the group admin to have ranked up so soon. From the position 21 to a whooping 7. Seems outrageous but she was trying, like pedal to the metal. I wanted to know more, so I set in. Facebook A mother has just scold her son about his using the social media so frequently. She asks him to leave the sitting room. He hissed slightly, she heard and grounded him in the room till evening. She starts complaining about the negativity of social media on kids of the century to the house made. When they hear a horn at the gate! Mother- John's dad is back, I have to un-ground John. Please go upstairs and tell John to go to the library for reading Housemaid- okay, ma. Make I tell her to go read book for library. Mother: Tell him to face his book After a minute, she get to John's room, about telling him to get to the library and read, she hears her madam calling out to her. She rushed to give instructions to the boy. Housemaid: Your mama say make you go library. She say make you Facebook. (Your mum said you should go to the library and face your books.) John was happy and went to the library, using the library's computer, he started browsing the social media. Minutes later his Father shouted his mother's name. FATHER: Funke!! Get here now. Mother: What happened honey? Father: (Turning to his son and pointing at the computer. ) Can't you open your mouth to talk. John: the housemaid td me that you told her to tell me to come to the library to Facebook. Mother went angrily with dad to the housemaids room. Asking her they said together" What did you tell our son to do in the library..? Housemaid- Na madam say make I tell John say make him go library go Facebook. (madam told me I tell John to go to the library to face his book.) Lol Lol..

My Change Starts Now!! It's been years since I bought myself a treat. Always getting some free from friends, family, colleagues at work, even strangers whom we ride the the BRT together. Lately I leave for work very early in the morning; say around 4:30am. Hoping to get to the office before resumption which is 8:00am. But we get stuck in traffic, the usual Lagos State Logo (go-slow). Getting to work most times between the hours of 8 and 11. I get to work, sign in on the staff register, take a minute walk through the office blocks to my office door. Open the office door. I hear a "you're back sir" from the board secretary. I send an immediate response to him "How you dey?" (HOW ARE YOU?). Getting into the office I say my dua (prayer). Clean my sit and table with a wipe. Take my seat, getting set to resume the day's work. Turn the Computer on, connect to the internet. "Loop .. ... ....loop" the notification for messages coming in. I check and see a long list of request from senior staffs. I have no choice than to manage their request cause time is all I have. Request for coffee from the kitchen. Black, no cream. Then on the 25th of last month I got a message in this format- "yYyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyoooooooooooooOooooooooooooouuuuUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuaaaaaAaaaaaaaaaaaaaRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeggggggggggggGgggggggggEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeettttttttTtttttttttttttttttttTttttttttttiiiiiiiiiiiiIiiiiiiiiiiiiNñnnnnnnnnnnnnnGggggggggggggggggggfffffffFfffffffffffiiiiiiIiiiiiiirrrrRrrrrrrrrreeeeEeeeeeeedddddddddddDddddddd." I was surprised because I actually taught this person how to use this code, because we do have our chats checked once in a while(it was a form of check on the activities of staffs). I knew I should prepare to defend my seat. The person who sent the code is a junior staff(a very beautiful lady, in her late 20s) Today on my way to work, I received a call from my junior staff (the lady from the last paragraph) that the query against me had been removed cause it was meant for someone else. I then thought to myself. Should it continue this way..? What if I get fired..? Why don't I start a business of my own? Ever since this thought struck my mind, I have decided to give my best in building the business I registered with the corporate affairs commission last year. I am ready to let go off my insecurities and get myself a better life. A life I am in charge of, that bring good times for me and my family. I'm very happy I didn't realise this late because I know many people have died in my present state, many have lost track of their time working to fulfill someone elses dreams. I will change, and it's starts now . Today I will close from work early, say around 3:00pm and would put my best into doing my job the right way. No more unnecessary overtime. No more closing at 7:00pm to get home at 11:00pm or later. This routine must change. And my change starts now!. This is a reach out to everyone who has been slacking in the monthly job sphere... Let's make a change. To a new life, to a happy life. Keep your best interest at heart, keep the interest of your needs at heart. We will make it but first. Let the change start from within you! The Love I Have for Her It's been years since I've had a crush on her. I remember telling a friend of mine one evening outside our balcony, just as she passed our house in her way to the Masjid. I told him "I like this lady" he responded; "go take your chance bro". I didn't take my chances, some years later we met at a job training. I resumed very late that morning due to traffic jam, getting into the building I entered the first office as instructed by the supervisor. I ran out and people were curious about what was happening, I couldn't believe my eyes. This girl again, I knew something was up somewhere. My heart was pounding seriously, like I had seen a ghost. To cut the story short, we went ahead with our activities, we became friends, I asked he out. We started dating, then things started changing. I'm tired, I don't want to think about it. Ladies!!!
