Crypto.com has announced that users in the US, Europe, UK, Canada, Singapore and APAC can now top up their card with Zilliqa. This makes it easier for Zilliqans to transact with Zilliqa and earn rewards along the way. Find out more in the description below.
In another note, with network optimizations, the unbonding period for Zilliqa staking has been shortened from 14 days to approximately 12.8 days. This means that if you decide to unstake, it will take slightly quicker. But of course, why should you be unstaking in the first place?
In related news, the minting of gZIL will end in a few months' time. Hence, if you are staking Zilliqa and you have not claimed your gZIL, do actively claim your rewards. The current price of gZIL is about 85 US dollars.
Lastly, the ETH-ZIL bridge can only go live after 4 Aug 2021. This is due to the upcoming Ethereum London Hardfork. The Zilliqa mainnet will be upgraded thereafter to support the bridge.
