Hospitality is derived from the word 'Hospital'. A hospital is place where sick people and medically ill people find treatment or solace after drugs and other treatment are administered to them to alleviate their pains.
I am simply implying that we are the hospital to humanity.our lives should be medicine that gives that cures the wound and pains of humanity.
God's Love and ways of life is what should be shown to the world.we must cure the pains of humanity.we should be hospitable to one another grudging.
Brotherly love should not stop,it should continue in and out of the church.
Hospitality is the act of welcoming, receiving and entertaining people particularly a guest in an acceptable and polite manner.
The entire world is waiting for our HOSPITALITY not our HOSTILITY.
Hospitality should not only be in words but in deeds,as a lifestyle for everyone.It is virtue everyone one must possess.It should not only be a subject of discussion but it should be demonstrated.
We should not just preach hospitality but practise it as a lifestyle.please understand that there cannot be a display or demonstration of hospitality without compassion.This is because compassion is what propels you to show or demonstrate hospitality.
Mother Teresa,the founder of the missionaries of charity and the Nobel prize winner in 1975 saw the helpless,the needy and the destitute eating from refuse dumps and living in the slumps of calcutta, India.she did all she could to rescue them and became a celebrity all over the world before she passed on.The world at large knew her for her kindness.
Stay where you are,find the sick,the needy and show them love.
Everywhere you go,you will find people who are unwanted,unloved, uncared-for in the society.Those are the people you should show love to.There is no where you go that you will not find someone that needs the love of God.
Hospitality is the Hallmark of Christianity.Just as you go to hospital for treatment,that is how you should be fair and kind to people.
If you are not hospitable,no matter what you preach,the people will run away from you after a while.we are supposed to be hospitals where people come and find solace to heal their pains.If you leave someone with pains,then you are not hospitable.
Hospitality is showing kindness to people,most especially when they are in need.
Hospitality is not a mere confession of words but rather it should be expressed in action and felt by people.The world has heard too gospels preached, people want to see it reflecting in our daily lives and in our actions.it is impossible to preach to others without a genuine and godly display of hospitality.
Wickedness is deriving pleasure in someone's pains.There are people that get excited when you go through pains .If you lack compassion today,you may suffer destruction tomorrow.
Now the big question is, 'HOW HOSPITABLE ARE YOU? Please ponder on this and take a big step towards it
