"A small inaccuracy sometimes saves tons of explanation" this saying just shows how many people try to lie.Their reasoning is that lying is not bad if it doesn't hurt anyone. Such reasoning even has an academic name: situational ethics, according to which the only law to be followed is the so-called law of love, that is if your motivation is right and your heart is right then the fact that you lie does not matter at all.
This view is very common in the world today. Scandals involving lies told by prominent politicians and other world leaders have shaken society. Influenced by this climate, many people relaxed their commitment to telling the truth. In some areas, lying has even become an official policy. “They pay me to lie. I win sales contests and get great reviews every year for lying. "This seems to be at the heart of retail training everywhere," complains one salesman. Many believe that there is no real harm in so-called innocent little lies. It is true?
Lying brings more Harm than Good
Of course, being honest does not mean that we are obligated to disclose all information to anyone who requests it,we live in a hostile world so not everyone have the right to know certain things.There may be times when apparently lying is an easy fix,but this can only be temporary and sooner or later the truth will eventually surface with devastating results of been labelled not trustworthy.
Lying be it small or big only propels hypocritical love,you can't protect someone by lying to them.
Non-hypocritical love can only grow and thrive in an environment of honesty and complete trust. It's hard to love someone if we can't be sure they will always tell us the truth.
While all lies are wrong, some are even more serious than others. For example, a person may lie out of shame or fear. Another might lie perversely with the intention of harming or hurting. Due to his malicious motivation, this stubborn liar is definitely a threat to others.
