Tulamba is the city of Raja Til and his queen Amba, inhabited in the time of Prophet Noah (peace be upon him). It is also mentioned in the Hindu Veda, according to which it was also the abode of Rama, Sita and Ravan. Kumar Prothi is one of his leading personalities. He also migrated from this city at the time of partition. (Commonly known as Mamoun Sher) is located on the ancient Generali Road between Mian Channu and Abdul Hakim in the modern-day Khanewal district.
This unfortunate city remained the training ground of invaders coming from the north like Alexander the Great, Timur Ling, Mughals etc. due to its emirate. It was repeatedly looted and burnt. When Alexander the Great invaded here It was the government of the Moi tribe who bravely resisted Alexander the Great. The blessed footsteps of Muhammad bin Qasim also fell in this city. The town is located around the fort of Sher Shah Suri, while inside the fort there are town committee offices, girls' higher secondary school and a press club. The ruins of the old city (called the local bard) are located one kilometer away from the present population, which speaks volumes about its condition.
This city had historical significance due to which Sher Shah Suri built a fort here which is still in a dilapidated condition among the population. Guru Nanak, the founder of the Sikh religion also came to this city for preaching. The dialect of Rachnavi is Punjabi. It is home to the ancient tribes of Sahu, Dangra and Sial tribes of Jhang (Hamjana, Haraj, Tharaj, Sanpal, etc.). This inhabited city is in a state of decline today and has remained on the path of sovereignty.
