Hello, my beautiful readers. I hope you're enjoying the weekend? Good enough it is Saturday, we still have Sunday to rest some more before going into another stressful week. I'm in no way saying some people don't get busy on the weekend too, No! No! There are sure so many people working hard this weekend and I say to you all God bless your hard work.

Like it is always and now, it is about health. As a student physiotherapist, I care so much about seeing people living the best of life in health and wellness. Often, we ignore the little things that should improve our general well-being for one reason or the other. Surely, every reason for not being able to cope with the demands of our health is legitimate. However, it is the discipline and resolve to move our situation from where it is to where it should be that makes the whole difference.

Even though we can mention some of the benefits of keeping fit the list that is not mentioned can be lengthy. And in this article, we will be showing you why you should always keep fit. Does that interest you? Then, hop on, and let's get deeper into the topic. Fitness in layman's terms is giving your body and system the ability. Ability to do what? Ability to free itself from any agent that may want to cause it dormant and win its freedom. It is this state of freedom acquired that gives you the fulfillment you enjoy. With this freedom, you can walk without cramps in your muscles, climb stairs without your heart feeling weak, or your body not being unable to confront some diseases that can ordinarily be kicked out by boosted immune.

Now, let's see why you should always keep fit:

1. It boosts the Immune system;

With a boosted immune, our bodies can counter just any kind of disease, keeping us safe and sound.

2. Improves cardiovascular health;

When we stay fit, our hearts thank us for it. Especially during exercises, veins pop open and more blood is pumped throughout the body enriching the system with oxygen. With fitness, the risk of cardiovascular disease is reduced.

3. Keeps you fresh-looking;

You know, keeping fit through regular exercise keeps us looking good and fresh because our metabolic activities are increased causing the body to use the food we eat more effectively.

4. Keeps you looking younger;

We are all surely going to get old but some will get old beautifully than others. With fitness, it is very possible for a forty or fifty years old to look twenty-five.

5. Improves beauty;

Yes, if you're already beautiful as a lady, then keeping fit makes you more beautiful, and for a guy, he becomes more handsome. They become more attractive to the opposite gender.

6. Boost our self-esteem;

When we are fit, our skin looks good, fresh, and healthy. This gives us confidence which improves our self-esteem.

7. Relieves stress;

A very good way to wade oneself from stress is fitness. Indulgence in activities that improve fitness relieves worries that contribute to burning away our stresses.

8. Boost mental health;

During fitness activities, our bodies use more oxygen as the body circulates more blood throughout the system. Our brains use most of this oxygen which helps them to repair damages thus boosting mental health.

9. Life becomes more enjoyable;

When we are fit, we get more fulfillment of life and vitality. But, why not? Given that in fitness, we are free of disease or even thrive well in a state of abnormalities. It brings enjoyment to life.

10. Thriving in the state of disease or abnormalities;

When we are fit, diseases are better to manage and we are always at low risk, compared to those not quite fit. Therefore, with fitness, we can thrive in diseases or abnormalities.
