The familiar aphorism "We have two ears and one mouth for an explanation" applies here. When within the sight of a senior, try to listen more than you talk as a senior's words originate from a spot with numerous times of understanding.

Be Polite

Acting in a well mannered manner to a senior is an exhibit of regard. On the off chance that you are within the sight of a senior, be respectful. This implies in the event that they are talking, tune in, in the event that they ask you an inquiry, react deferentially and with a quiet tone. Try not to interfere with them, and consistently inquire as to whether they need anything. Try not to address them by their first name except if they have given you consent. On the off chance that you don't have the foggiest idea about their name, you may utilize sir or ma'am again except if they reveal to you extraordinary. In the event that gathering a senior just because, don't sit with them except if you ask consent.

Itโ€™s a common courtesy to treat seniors with dignity and respect. Unfortunately, most of the time they arenโ€™t getting the respect they deserve due to people being busy or just being simply dismissed. We forget the contributions they had to our community and family. Seniors have plenty of experience in life and they can teach us about enduring change and handling lifeโ€™s challenges. They have a great amount of wisdom and knowledge to share with us. Good evening my friend.
