Women play an important role in society and contribute to the health and well-being of families. Through their own professional development, they can help build stronger communities. Women's professional development is therefore a key factor in fostering human capital development at all levels.Women play important roles in society. They are teachers, lawyers and doctors. Women are seen as equal to men by the law but in many societies, women have an inferior status with fewer rights than men because of religious or cultural beliefs.

The role of women in the society cannot be denied because they are playing a significant part in shaping the world. Women have made remarkable progress over time, and today they can be seen working in every field – politics, sports, art, law, science and business. Role of women cannot be denied in the development of a nation. To improve their status, women should have access to education, health care and labour market. Most importantly, they should have power over their own bodies through greater control on sexual and reproductive health. And to fulfill their role, they should be educated and trained. So, I think it is very important for us to change this society by raising our voice against the atrocities against women.

Role of women as mother:

The role of women as mother is a very important one. It is the main role in which they contribute to the family, and the main influence on their children. The quality of this role directly affects the future life of their children in school and society. Mothers are powerful and influential people in their children's lives. They provide stability, support and love. They teach morals and values, encourage selfless behavior and instill a sense of self worth for people of all ages. Mothers play an instrumental role in shaping the future world leaders and entrepreneurs of today.

As wife:

Women play an important role as a wife and partner to her husband, particularly during the early years of marriage. Husbands often rely on their wives for financial, emotional and social support at this stage in their lives, where they can struggle to find their feet in a new role. Women play a significant role as wife in their husband's life. They are not just wives, but always help their husbands in every activities.

It is a woman who gives the very best of herself to her children, to her husband and to society. Her place in society is that of an individual standing on her own feet, working beside her husband as an equal partner sharing his joys and sorrows, bringing sunshine into the home and forming each day some beautiful service which will bring blessing upon herself and those around her.

As a leader of household:

Women have been the backbone of every single civilization mankind has ever known. From the time of the first agricultural revolution, women have played a key role in shaping humanity as we know it today. One of the most extraordinary feats accomplished by women was their role in managing households while taking care of their children and families. Women use this exclusive set of skills to be highly proficient in multitasking, planning ahead and generally maintaining an orderly environment for their family members.

As a manager of family income:

A woman's role in family is to ensure family income doesn't get shortchanged. A mother bears the responsibility of looking after her children, husband and home and this includes providing for the financial needs of all who depend on her.

Women are becoming not only the main breadwinner, but the manager of family income. They control the money and they decide how they want it spent. Men in our research said that it was up to them to earn more money because they felt like their women could handle anything that came at them.

Role of women as educator:

Educator role of women is considered to be very important in the society. The contribution of women in society is highly appreciated. Many schools are looking for female teachers only because they consider women as the best educators. This belief rose from the fact that women are good at communicating with others, especially children and youngsters.

The role of women as educators in Korea has changed dramatically over the last century. In a study reported by the Osaka University in 2004, it was estimated that over 95% of all teachers in South Korea are female. This reflects the significant progress made by women within the education sector in recent decades. This evolution has been driven by social and cultural factors, but also by increased access to higher education and professional opportunities for female students.

Women in teaching have been a significant presence in almost all societies, despite many obstacles and heavy responsibilities. Before the 20th century, teaching was considered a “female” occupation, particularly in elementary education. As women began to enter the workforce in larger numbers and earn greater educational credentials, men began taking over roles as school leaders. However, despite these developments and others related to gender equality, there has been a steady increase in the proportion of women entering the field of education at all levels.

Role of women as a global volunteer:

Women play an important role in global volunteer work. Their influence reaches into their home, the workplace and community, making them the primary connection among these three arenas. Women are especially well-suited to help address issues stemming from a lack of access to education and healthcare, as well as poverty, violence and corruption.

A humble message

Women have been able to play an important role in every field of life. Women are playing a crucial part in the world of science, business, politics, etc. They have become influential around the world.

We must respect and honor women. They are the mothers, daughters, grandmothers and great-grandmothers of our families. We live in a culture that places a high value on women and the roles they have chosen to fill. Women have made many sacrifices, such as leaving their families to work outside of the home or dedicating themselves to careers that may not provide financial stability or prestige. Women have also proven themselves as leaders in government and business. It is time we start acknowledging and rewarding these contributions to our society by treating women as equals.
