World Cup Final. 

Hello dear friends. We have got the new ICC Men's T20 World Champion. And that is none other than England. England really played well and they were one of the most favorite teams in this world cup. So the T20 world cup has just finished. Let's talk about it. In this article I will discuss those things that took my attention during the world cup. 

The T20 world cup is the second massive event in Cricket. First is the One Day international. T20 is all about power hitting. This year, the world cup was arranged in Australia. Final match was held in Melbourne, Australia Between two finalists, England and Pakistan. Both teams played well. But England, the team I support, became the champion. 

In this world cup, 12 teams had the opportunity to take part in the main event. My country Bangladesh was one of them. Though we are not so good in t20 but we have played well and won two matches within five. We lost Against India, Pakistan and South Africa. In the match against India, we were very close to win. But we lost by 5 runs.. Rain ruined the match mostly. After the rain, overs have been cut. And most importantly, the outfield was wet. And it becomes slow. By the way Bangladesh is a good team in ODI internationals. We can challenge any country on any ground in ODI and can fight tightly.

Let's come back to the World Cup 2022. Some unexpected things happened in this world cup. Australia, the host country of this world cup, could not qualify for the semi final. Some matches were abandoned due to rain in this world cup. And that set the fate of Australia. 

In the match Between Pakistan and Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe won. And it was quite unexpected. I am not underestimating the team Zimbabwe. They played well and won the match against Pakistan. But no one expected that Zimbabwe would win against Pakistan. But it happened and it changed the graph of group B. 

Twelve teams of this tournament were divided into two groups. Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Ireland were in group B. At one point it was quite sure that India and South Africa would play in the semi final. But one match reversed everything. 

That match was the turning point for Pakistan. Ireland won against South Africa. It was unimaginable. Again I am assuring that I am not underestimating the team. But what is true is true. 95 percent of people who follow cricket will predict that South Africa will win. But South Africa lost and was knocked out. 

Bangladesh and Pakistan were almost knocked out before the match between South Africa and Ireland. And the match Between Bangladesh and Pakistan was nothing important. Everyone thought they would be knocked out. But after the win of Ireland this match became a virtual quarter final. The winning team will play the semi final. Pakistan won the match. My team Bangladesh lost but they played well.. 

Pakistan won the semi final match against New Zealand and became the finalist. On the other hand India lost against England. And knocked out from the tournament. India was also favorites in this world cup. 

In my opinion England was the most deserving team in this tournament. Because of their batting line I like them most. They have nine batters. Before the match today, i told my friends that England will win the match. And it happened. 

Pakistan bat first and scored 137 in total. England won by five wickets in hand. It's a beautiful match to watch. Ben Stokes was the player of the match. He scored 51 and left the field after ensuring the victory. He was also the hero of the ODI world cup final 2019. He is doing great. And everyone knows that he is a great all rounder. Pakistani bowlers also did well in this match. Especially Afridi. He was outstanding all over the tournament. It was unfortunate for Pakistan. Better luck for the next time. Congratulations England.
