Not long ago, General Protocols (GP) shut down the beta Oracle to better set up the upcoming official version of Oracle. Now, we can easily announce that our official version of Oracle is now operational.
What is a GP booking?
Oracle, first introduced by GP, is a mechanism for obtaining data prices from stable price feeds, signing data using GP's private key, and then sending signed price messages to users. While Oracle's messages are designed to meet AnyHedge's contractual needs, they can be used for any BCH smart contract that requires a price.
The beta version of Oracle:
· Public stalls used: 0273ee4909f0a09be514cbb45756bf49ad256d0a6de993107e98c89c16b6fa84e
· Multiple iterations run for a total of approximately 4 months.
· A price message with more than 100,000 signatures was generated.
· Used in retrospective liquidation and spending hundreds of AnyHedge contracts mature.
Official version of Oracle:
· Public stalls used: 02bca289e12298914e45f1afdcb6e6fe822b9f9c7cd671fb195c476ac465725e6f
· Use the same stable Bitpay price data as the beta version to track BCH prices in U.S. dollars.
· Generating a price message on a secure platform is separate from the nature of broadcast price messages.
· If this valve occurs, the data price will be restored by interpolating the published price to the current price.
