Quality of a service staff in any establishment

We all know that their are some qualities or traits that you have so that you'll be qualified when applying some job. These are some that I've learned:

A. Professional and Hygienic Appearance

The server's appearance and first impression reflect the hygiene standards of the establishment and quality of service expected.

B. Knowledge

Awarenesses of one's responsibilities and roles, appropriate knowledge of food items,food and beverage pairing, etiquette,and service styles is a great way to build confidence while serving the guests.

C. Attentiveness

Attentiveness is paying sincere attenttion to details, memorizing the guests needs and fulfilling them timely with as much perfection as one can put in.

D. Punctuality

The service staff needs to know the value of time while serving the guests. Sincere time keeping and sense of urgency help to keep the service workflow smooth.

E. Honesty and Integrity

These two core values in any well brought up person are important for serving the guest in the hospitality sector.

F. Memory

A good memory is an asset to what you are serving. It may help them in various ways of their work if they know the likes and dislikes of the customers.

F. Sales ability

All members of staff reflect the image of the establishment. They are sales people and must, therefore have a complete knowledge off all forms of food and drinks and their correct service,and so be able to continue to personal selling and merchandising.

H. Lastly, Communication

It is very vital when it comes to talking with co-workers and guests. Clear and accurate manner of communication using the right language,pace,volume, intensity,and tone can make the service workflow smooth.
