The legendary Uchiha, in particular, has reached the apex of ninjutsu, taijutsu, or any other jutsu for that matter. Any of the techniques he has mastered is formidable in its own right, many of which fans often forget about their existence

10. Izanagi

Izanagi is a technique that distorts reality to the extremes -it fools death itself. By sacrificing a Sharingan, the user can gain a certain extent of immortality for a set amount of time. The deeper the chakra pool, the longer Izanagi can be kept active.

That said, and as overpowered this technique is, it comes with severe restrictions. The price for temporary immortality is the caster’s Sharingan. Only an individual with an awakened Rinnegan like madara could ever revers the penalty.

9. Diva Path

Diva Path is one of the abilities granted by the Rinnegan. Its wielder can manipulate pulling and pushing forces at will. This ability first flourished at the hands of Pain. More than half of Konoha was devastated as a result of its unveiling.

While the technique is indeed formidable against most shinobi, its effects can be pretty limited in the truly high-tier battles. Those of Six Paths Naruto and Rinne Sasuke will be able to shrug it off for the most part.

8. Planetary Devastation

Of all the techniques granted by the Rinnegan, Planetary Devastation (Chibaku Tensei) stands at the very top. It’s a technique guaranteed to dominate whichever battlefield it graces. Kaguya, the Goddess of Shinobi, was defeated not once, but twice by this technique.

Asura Path is the most bizarre of the Six Paths of Pain abilities. It allows the user to mechanize their bodies from toe to teeth. With it, the user can effectively turn their body into one giant weapon.

Nevermind blades and swords, even rockets and machine guns are not out of the question. Pain’s Asura Path puppet was able to arm itself with all kinds of deadly weaponry.

6. Gunbai Fanned Wind

Madara’s weapon of choice is an unusual one. Not many shinobi would pick a gunbai as their main weapon. Besides its gigantic size, the weapon has no other redeeming qualities whatsoever. It’s both dull and lacking in the sharpness department.

Having said so, even the most uninteresting kitchen knife can serve as a deadly saber if used by a master. Madara can unleash an array of techniques that cover both close and long ranges, Gunbai Fanned Wind is the most prominent of his ranged attacks.

5. Hiding In Surface Technique

Hiding in Surface Technique is a passive jutsu that allows its user to freely phase through solid surfaces. Zetsu and Obito are known for their adept usage of this technique. Madara, on the other hand, does not use it as much.

While it might be a fearsome technique if appropriately used, it remained relatively underdeveloped until the very end. Madara himself only used it a handful of times.

4. Will Materialisation

There are some techniques in Naruo that dabble in the domain of the divine. Will Materialization is at the forefront of said techniques. With a will strong enough, one would be able to mold anything and everything.

Kaguya, for once, used this technique to create a myriad of things including Black Zetsu and the Ten-Tails. Although Madara possessed it, he only held a rudimentary grasp over it, not enough to make it a game changer.

Dubbing Madara at his peak as a demigod would in no way be overestimating his capabilities. In fact, it is rather commendable that he was able to face the entire world with a set of recently acquired abilities.

Tengai Shinsei falls in Madara’s recently acquired category. A technique that summons a meteorite from outer space should not be that easy to master. Yet despite that, Madara nearly wiped out the opposition with its help.

There are only so many sealing jutsu that can incapacitate full fledged tailed beasts. Not only can Demonic Statue Chains seal the tailed beasts movements, but it can also intervene with their bonds with their jinchuriki. It can even go as far as forcefully extracting the tailed beasts from their hosts.

During his bout against the tailed beasts, Madara generously utilized this technique to subdue the ferocious entities.

Animal Path is most definitely one of the most underrated abilities in Naruto. It’s a Rinnegan exclusive technique that allows the user to summon an endless number of seemingly immortal animals.

For the average shinobi, even one of these beasts can be a disaster, let alone an entire hoard. Some of the summoned animals can even experience rapid power An the more damage they receive. For obvious reasons, Madara retained from using it during the final battle.
