What are the main reasons for not completing KYC on KuCoin?
Ever since KuCoin announced it would make KYC mandatory, there has been a problem. For many reasons, people do not want to do KYC, which is a valid reason in itself. The main reasons are:
Privacy Problem
Some people do not want to do KYC for their own privacy. Personal privacy has been a very sensitive issue in the online space since its inception. People of this ideology do not want to do KYC due to the possibility of revealing their identity to unwanted people and identity theft due to a loss of privacy.
Anti-Crypto Regime
Some people do not want to do KYC to avoid anti-crypto policies in their geographic area. Like the Russians, who want to avoid international sanctions because of the Ukraine war. The people of Nepal want to escape due to crypto being banned in the country. US citizens want to avoid the SEC and IRS.
The Complexity of Kucoin
Some people consider KYC a necessity for rising crypto industry like Binance, Coinbus, etc. but are not able to complete the KYC process due to complexity. The lack of cooperation from KuCoin support has made most people to avoid the idea of completing KYC.
