Trezor to depricate password manager tool
The well-known hardware crypto wallet Trezor is deprecating its password manager service. Trezor has released an advisory guide to help its users export their passwords to another service.
What is a Password Manager?
A password manager is a programme that helps people store, handle, and manage all their essential passwords (strong and unique, which are hard to remember). This is an encrypted service that gives a person access to all their passwords with just one password. Through this, a person is able to import and export passwords.
Depreciation Date of Trezor's Password Manager
Trezor notified its users by email on January 26 of this year that the password manager was going to be deprecated. In addition to this, Trezor has announced that the deprecation of the password manager tool will take place at the end of June (30 June).
Users unsatisfied and not worried
This service must have been a weak system because people are not at all discouraged. Users complain about Trezor's password manager tool because it only provides 30-day backups to Dropbox and corrupts passwords. Hence, Trezor users are not worried about its depreciation.
