Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko bats for perfect regulations
Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko urged the US Congress to understand blockchain and enact appropriate regulations.
Regulations for the American Crypto Industry
Bitcoin was created for economic freedom, so asking for regulation is not in keeping with the roots in the crypto world, but Yakovenko sees crypto as an industry, and he believes that industries are leaving the US due to unfair pressure in the absence of proper regulation.
Facing problems as a developer?
Yakovenko has been taking measures for some time to make new commitments to the development of Solana, such as increasing equity in block production, multiple leaders per time slot, etc. So it seems Yakovenko is having problems with regulators, which made him request appropriate regulations.
Yakovenko Pushes For Freedom and Safety
Yakovenko actually is not asking for anti-freedom regulations, he criticised the legislation from the two congressional committees that is establishing a regulatory framework for stable coins and digital assets. Yakovenko advocates for legislation that protects the sector while also curbing scams, as opposed to shackling crypto to regulation.
