First Bitcoin Veterinary Hospital Chivopets opens in El Salvador

Established in the capital city of San Salvador, El Salvador, "Chivopets" is the world's first bitcoin-powered veterinary service.

Construction of Chivopets Veterinary Hospital began in November 2021; In January 2022, El Salvador increased animal protection by ratifying the Animal Welfare Act. The hospital was inaugurated by President Nayib Bukele on 23 February 2022. Chivopets Hospital will start its work from 26 February 2022.
