There are so many ancient inventions from our past that still throw us into the deepest dilemmas today. How did ancient civilizations manage to create such interesting objects with advanced technology?

1. London hammer
It is speculated that this item is so old that the wooden part, the handle, turned into coal. Coal is known to take several million years to form, so how is this possible? How old can this historical specimen really be?
2. Fuente Magna bowl
This is one of the most controversial items originating from South America. It is a large stone bowl, which is similar to a vessel for pouring wine in honor of a deity, baptism or purification ceremony. It was found by a villager near Lake Titicaca, and the engravings on the plate are considered to be of Sumerian origin!
3. Antikythera mechanism
This is an amazing astronomical ‘computer’ that is about 2000 years old made by the ancient Greeks! This spectacular mechanism is far more advanced than anything else made centuries later. Where did they get the knowledge to make something so mathematically precise and fascinating?
4. A stone with a hidden sign
This stone is located in the beautiful surroundings of Zhangbu village in China. This amazing stone carving is considered to be over 270 million years old ?! There are different versions of this inscription that can essentially be translated as "Communist Party of China."
5. The mystical stone of Lake Winnipesauke
The age of this stone, its purpose and origin are unknown. It was found back in the 1800s by several workers digging fence posts. The carved details on the stone on one side show a picture of corn and several other very strange figures.

10. Stone balls from Costa Rica
