How many months have passed since our president declared an enhanced community quarantine in metro Manila. As of today we have 85,486 confirmed cases in the Philippines. Is it our president's fault? Definitely no. When the president declared an ECQ in metro Manila some of us were not listening. We're not allowed to go outside our house but some of us are still going outside to hang out with their friends. they will just run when the brgy. Tanod or police officer are approaching. The problem is the Filipino itself some of us are hard headed. They're always blaming the government if they cannot feed their kids 3x a day.
Are you familiar with the 4p's program that we have here in Philippines? This program is for the poorest of the poor. One day while I was queueing to withdraw money at the ATM I heard this two middle aged woman chit chatting on whats their plan with the money that they will be getting on their 4ps. Theyre planning to play Tong its whole day while drinking alcohol (what a shame to the taxpayers like me) then I ask my self are they really the poorest of the poor? Please keep an eye on them. Please do a background check if they really deserve that money.
Up until now, people are just hard-headed. Putting all the blames in the government. Discpline should've started from themselves. They even worry more about the penalty fee for not using a face mask rather than the virus.
About the 4P's thing, government only spoonfeed those members. Probably instead giving them money, why not teach them how to earn money for themselves. Maybe a livelihood program will do.
