Moringa or Malunggay is a common leafy vegetables here in the Philippines. It grows every where in our backyard without needing a fertilizer or maintenance just a lot of water to grow the Moringa even more.

If you want to plant a Moringa in your backyard, you just need to cut a branch of it and plant it. Moringa loves water so its much better when you plant it on rainy days or near that water sources.

You can eat malunggay leaves and the malunggay fruits as well. There are many recipes of malunggay nowadays. You can add it to different kind of dishes, some add it on pandesal or other rice cake. Others dried the malunggay leaves and make it a powder and add it on their juices or coffee because of its health benifits. Some produces malunggay capsule and malunggay oil and its already available on drugstore.

I used malunggay oil when I started nursing my son. I take it twice a day because malunggay helps to produced milk supply. I also drink malunggay juices and started to introduced it to my son. He also drinks malunggay juice.

Malungay has a lot of benifits in our body such as :

Vitamin A - Good for the eyes, skin and skin

Vitamin C - Help our immune system to fight colds or cough

Calcium - Good for our bones and teeth
