What happened during one week of freelancing? July 2, 2022. 3:14 PM. A week ago I shared here that I just got my first contract on Upwork and my job is sharing articles on different social media accounts. I was a hired by the client and said just try to promote for a week with a 5$ budget on it. Like what I said the 5$ is pretty small but still accept it for experience. So me and the client was communicating like 3 days. He's not available on the rest of the weeks and he just told me to do the best thing that I can do. My main job was so create traffic for his website and his website is all about stocks. I am engaged with crypto platforms but I don't have any idea how stock works so he explains to me what I can do. I am promoting on Twitter, I search videos about stocks and comment the site link on relevant videos. I also do it on different Facebook group about stocks. I created a reddit account and Stockwitts and even Yahoo Finance. I only share the site link and create a short caption. On our third days he chatted me that the traffic I created is not so good because on his analytics there's like 20 person who click the site link and a few people on the search engine. Then he said try to promote in Pinterest because it's good to have traffic there. I created a Pinterest account under the website name and try to promote 22 articles and even suggested that I will edit the pins so that people will have an idea what the pin is all about.
So after one week our contract ended just like that. I am little sorry for my self and him because I didn't reach the quota traffic which is 500 people. But on the other hand I know that I do the job because I keep sharing the article on different social media platform and that's what the description of his job. I am having a hard time for the traffic because he needs a people from US , UK and Canada so it's not possible to promote it here and I think the skills for that is not for the 5$. So yeah the project ended. I gave 5$ on my Upwork account and I don't know if when is the next time that I will try to apply again because having a client is not so easy pala unlike here that you can write anytime.

Sis, ang dami kong ganyan sa upwork before. As in, like 6 months end contract agad. Di talaga nila gusto yun traffic pag sa Pinas galing yun gagawa nun, kasi daw hindi daw kiniclick. Minsan nga nag spam na ko, sinama ko na sa trending tweets na KPop para lang ma view, ayun na view sya, may traffic pero spammer ako pag ganun. Try ka pa sis. Ako nag try ng 6 months. Nakakababa ng confidence sis, pero need talaga ng experience sa upwork para gumanda ang reputation.

Another experience naman hehe. Mahirap nga ganyam lalo na wala ka influenced. Sguro Ryan kumikita mga tiktokerist no? Yung nagshashare ng nabudol nila.
Ha? Diko gets hehe. Yung sa sinasabi mo iba iba yon. Minsan binabayaran sila mismo ng may Ari ng products to endorse Yung iba Naman nag invest sila to buy products para may own reviews sila saka nila endorse at kapag may bumili under thier link kikita sila. Yun nga Yung affliate marketing hehe

Ayaw ko na nun mommy kasi alam mo ba may mga nag unfollow sakin sa Twitter dahil sa kakashare ko ng articles nya haha. Gusto ko mga admin task like sa excel data entry ganon

Yes sis hindi madali makahanap ng client sa upwork.. Ganon talaga, ang advice sa akin is tanggapin kahit walang bayad to gain experience. My experience was $5 for every bible verse translated from English to Filipino tapos ilagay sa powerpoint.. Ok naman.. After that I got a new client asking me to write press releases about their product, mga 3 weeks din ako nagwork tapos $5 per every article approved per site.. Tapos nanalo pa. Ako ng dress sa paraffle nila 😍.. I got discouraged when they cut into half ung payment without telling me beforehand.. Di na ako nagpost ulit after nun.. tinamad na ako.. Haha! 😅😂
Nag freelance kadin pala. Nag start palang ako . Dipanga maayos cover letter ko .
Ok na yan.. Nagka experience ka naman.. Ako nagregister ako sa fiver as a freelancer pero almost half of a month na wala parin ako mattangap na client.. Hehez..

Kaya hulog ng langit talaga tong readcash eh. I remember one time parang naiiyak ako after ako sinabihan ng isang client na di daw ako allowed dahil wala akong laptop. Buti nalang mabait si God, may paraan talaga siya.

Still you earned an experience with your client in upwork. It's really hard to find one in there lalo na kung yung mga task eh dimo abot hihi.. Kaya sa readcash nalang po tayo.
