Effects of cigarettes to pregnant women and unborn baby.

Here's the effects of third hand smoking to a pregnant women and also to the baby inside thier womb when someone's taking cigarettes near them.

We all know the the effects of the cigarette smoke is dangerous to our health especially for the pregnant women. It is more dangerous when the pregnant woman is the one who makes it. Aside from first hands smoke , there are also a second and third hand smoke.

Second hand smoke is the smoke that they inhaled because of the people near them using cigarettes while the third hand smoke is the residue of the smoke that holds on the surface and stuff of the pregnant woman like dress , furniture, car , toys or appliances. Though the third hand smoke is not directly inhaled by the pregnant women , it is still dangerous to their health because the residues of the cigarette s didn't remove easily on the surface. That's why , there's a higher chance that like the first hand smoke and second hand smoke , third hand smoke can be inhaled because of the things and contact on the third hand smoker.

There's a higher chance that pregnant woman expose to third hand smoke when thier husband are smokers. Like the first and second hand smoke , third hand smoke are also dangerous to pregnant woman.

• Miscarriage and other complications while pregnancy.

Effects of first and second hand smoke is similar to third hand smoke. It can cause miscarriage and complications like still birth and etopic pregnancy.

• Can be affect to the development of the baby.

The toxins that the pregnant woman inhaled can affect to the development of the baby. It can caused premature birth or low weight gain of the baby. The toxins on the cigarettes affects to the cognitive development of the baby.

• Health problems on the baby inside.

Third hand smokes toxins can affect to the development of the baby. It can caused respiratory problems to the baby.

• Higher chance to experience Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.

Babies who are exposed to the third hand smoke can be a victim of SIDS. This syndrome connect to the defect of the brain who control the breathing.

• Higher chance to experience Post Partum Depression.

According to study , women who exposed to third hand smoke have a higher chance to experience PPD. There's a survey conduct on 725 women who exposed on the 3rd hand smoke while they are pregnant and 17 percent of the women who answered survey experienced PPD.
