Yesterday's happenings: I was not able to update here, not because I was too busy, but because of the 9-hour power interruption. Imagine nine hours without WiFi and the mobile data wasn't working properly? ( I know this shouldn't be a big deal. Lol )🫥 So we just decided to go out in the afternoon. We went to one of the food parks here in the city. We just ordered some pizzas and bubble tea, and we just let our nephews play as long as they wanted. They enjoyed it, and so did I! 🫶🏻 -- So, hi? :) * I'm trying to control my fingers not to type too much * ~~~~

I remember when I was a kid, my friends and I used to collect santan flowers (jungle geranium), and we used to believe that when you find a santan flower with five petals (because usually, it's just four), you can wish and it will come true. So that's what we always did. Lololol 🫣 After wishing, we pull out the stigma and style of this flower, then we lick the nectar that comes out. It tastes sweet! :D Then we glued 5 to 8 flowers together to make a bracelet or necklace. Reminiscing it makes me realize more how awesome my childhood was. 🫶🏻

Even though I planned to wake up early to help my sister prepare and cook foods that we would bring for our quick getaway, I still woke up 2 hours late. I sent my man a good morning message then went downstairs right away to do my morning skincare (brushed my teeth, washed and soaked my face in iced water for 15 minutes, and other stuff), I drank a cup of hot water with honey, then I changed my pj's to swimwear. It was a two-piece bikini but I still wore shorts and an oversized long-sleeved polo (for travel purposes lol). As expected, all the food was ready. Shrimp boil cajun, spicy pork adobo, fusilli in tomato sauce, cheesy crab sticks, fried chicken, chips, other snacks, desserts and drinks, and of course, my all-time favourite RICE. :D I made my iced coffee because I need energy for the whole day, then we already headed to the private resort that my family rented. My other relatives started to come, they also brought some food. There were so many kids, and I don't know why kids and babies love me so much, even though I love to make them cry. I am the favorite of all my cousin's kids. Lol I took some pictures and tweeted first before I decided to jump into the swimming pool. I taught some kids how to swim, we played water volleyball and other games, and we chitchatted and laughed. It rained so we enjoyed the swimming more! Play. Laugh. Swim. Eat. Repeat. That's what we did the whole day. It was already around 5 pm when we packed up and went home. It was good times and tan lines! 🫰

To my future shujin, I can't wait to sleep at night next to you and wake up in the morning that your cutie handsome face is the first thing I will see. I may be grumpy sometimes, but I'll make sure that there will be no mornings that I will leave the bed without kissing your cheeks or forehead. I won't mind if you're a picky eater, because I have already practiced myself to be not only your greatest chef from breakfast to midnight snacks, but also your personal bartender. One thing I love and hate at the same time about watching a TV series is that the more seasons I watch, the more I get attached to the characters. And when they die, it breaks my heart. This is the reason why I don't post regularly. I've been watching the American television series "The Walking Dead", and Glenn Rhee died in the last episode I watched. :( I cooked popcorn to at least ease the pain I feel by munching it, but the popcorn got burned. 🥲 So I'm just having these walnuts, dried plums, dark chocolate, and iced green tea. Anyways.. 🤧

I used to say fairytales only exist in books and movies. But then, you came. You made me realize that I don't need to be a damsel in distress so that a prince charming would save me and fall for me. You fell for me and treated me like a princess. I used to define "happy endings" as grand weddings, with bands and fireworks. But then, you came. You made me realize that happy endings can also mean peace of mind, it can also mean sleeping at night and waking up in the morning with a happy heart, it can also mean just watching your favorite tv show together, or just enjoying each other's silence. You made me realize that we don't have to wait for marriage to have a happy ending, because we can start our happy ending with our first "I love you" to each other. Exactly one year ago today when we officially chose each other. But you didn't stop there, you made me feel how it feels to be chosen every single day. It was Saturday afternoon, I decided to take a break from watching the series "The Walking Dead" and go to the nearest park to click some photos and write another love letter to my handsome boyfriend while waiting for the sunset. There were a lot of kids playing. I took some photos of them and I love how their happiness shows in the photos. I decided to sit under the biggest tree as it gives the biggest shade. As I was busily writing, an old man came and said "Can you please give this flower to my wife? This is her favorite flower.", pointing to the old woman in a light yellow dress who was also sitting under the tree while eating some snacks. She's old, maybe around 70, but she still looks pretty. I remember how my dad described to me what his mom looked like. I could see it in that woman. I smiled and said "Sure". It's just cute that even though they are old, he still knows how to make his wife feel kilig. I went to the old woman and said "Your husband wants me to give this flower to you.", while I was smiling. She smiled and said "Thank you, hija. Can I tell you a secret?" I didn't know how to react but I just nodded. "My husband died 8 years ago. Today is our wedding anniversary. I come here every year to celebrate it because this is our favorite place. He loves nature, he loves kids. He used to bring candies and chocolates to give to the kids here in the park. And every year he asks someone to bring this flower to me because he knows it is my favorite and it makes me happy. He does it still, even now that he's gone." Usually, I don't eat breakfast on Sunday and I just spend my whole morning watching on Tiktok, browsing on Facebook, Insta, and Twitter until my mom shouts my full name. But today I got up from bed early and decided to eat breakfast because I was craving Filipino scrambled eggs with a lot of tomatoes. :D While eating, I decided to scroll through our (me and my boyfriend's) conversation. From day 1, we have talked about everything under the sun. From gossip to serious matters, from everything that happened in our past to our biggest dreams, from cheesy pick-up lines to financial management. He started to use some of my wording and my favorite emojis, and I started to think as mature as he does. There were no fights that we didn't resolve, there were no days that he didn't make me feel loved. And I could see how we've grown so much as a couple. I was reading with my resting bitch face because my mom was in front of me, but inside, I was feeling super "kilig" in every single solitary white and red blood cell in my body. 🤧 Anyways, I'm just listening to some true-crime podcasts while munching these freshly cooked chips. He works 10 hours a day from Monday to Saturday, plus his extra crypto works. But he still manages to give her more than enough time. From the morning when he wakes up, he never forgets to greet her good morning and asks her how her sleep was and how she is. After he gets ready for work, he always tells her that he is about to leave. And when he reaches the office, he will still update her. In the middle of his work, he still texts her just to ask her how she is doing, and on his break, he calls her just to flirt with her. And after his work, he spends his time with her until she falls asleep. He never made her beg for his time and attention because he gives it to her naturally. He always uses the words "we" and "our" when he is planning something for the future whether it's small or big. He never fails to reassure her, to make her feel special, and to make her feel loved every second of the day. I woke up at almost 10 am today, and greeted my man with a "good morning" text. I stayed in my bed and watched Tiktok videos for almost 2 hours, so yeah, I skipped breakfast again. I cleaned my room and got rid of some stuff. I had a very delicious lunch, took a shower, and watched some vlogs of my favorite YouTube vloggers. I am also creating some bedroom designs (one of my hobbies these days) and I'm so excited to share them with you guys very soon, maybe on Tiktok or reels. :) And yes, because I can't drink coffee, I made my own bubble tea. It was my first time making one and it tasted so good. 😋 Will be updating again regularly starting tomorrow. 🤧 (I don't know why this post sounds like a voice-over recording of a short video while I was reading it. Lol)

Even though I learned from my papa that we should always say the "three words, eight letters" to the people we love because we don't know when will be the last time we can say it to them, I always told myself that when I fall in love, I won't say it so often as I don't want to lose its meaning, and I don't want the person I love to get tired and bored of hearing it from me again and again. I was planning that I would only say it on special days. But then, I met you. You greet me good morning, goodnight. I love you. You call me beautiful, cute, sexy. I love you. I just saw someone on Facebook posted this photo of my alma mater and it just gave me nostalgia. 🤧 From being friendly to the security guard because I left my id, to riding a tricycle even my dorm was just 40 meters away just because it was raining and I left my umbrella. From running to the 4th floor of the building coz it was already 7:29 am and my class was at 7:30 am, to running down after my 9:30 pm class because I remember the creepy story about that building. From controlling myself not to each too much inside the university because the foods in the canteen are so expensive, to eating all you can when there's free community breakfast and meryenda during special days. From blockmate crush to professor crush. Lol :D From attending mass because it was required in one subject, to napping in the library. And many more. One of the things I love doing these days is cooking. :D Before, whenever I craved something, I always asked my mama to cook or make it for me. And if she doesn't do it, I just starve myself to death instead of doing it on my own. That's how lazy I was. 🤦🏻♂️ But now, when I crave, I cook. I do enjoy cooking and it makes me feel like a real adult now. Lol Just a simple craving for today. I cooked a half kilo of potatoes, and I just put sour cream and onion, and barbecue flavor powder. :)

Sunday for me means general cleaning day! :D And aside from cleaning, my goal every Sunday is to get rid of stuff that I don't use anymore to make space for things that are coming. Today I got rid of a box of unused clothes and some are slightly used clothes and they are now ready for donation. And some clothes and stuff to throw away. Will also be watching a movie that I found on Tiktok. 🤧 How's your Sunday, folks?
