I used to say fairytales only exist in books and movies. But then, you came. You made me realize that I don't need to be a damsel in distress so that a prince charming would save me and fall for me. You fell for me and treated me like a princess. I used to define "happy endings" as grand weddings, with bands and fireworks. But then, you came. You made me realize that happy endings can also mean peace of mind, it can also mean sleeping at night and waking up in the morning with a happy heart, it can also mean just watching your favorite tv show together, or just enjoying each other's silence. You made me realize that we don't have to wait for marriage to have a happy ending, because we can start our happy ending with our first "I love you" to each other. Exactly one year ago today when we officially chose each other. But you didn't stop there, you made me feel how it feels to be chosen every single day. And that's why I can say that you're the most consistent person I have ever met. :) Here's to one year full of laughter and tears of joy, blushing cheeks and butterflies in the stomach, cheesy pick-up lines and heart-to-heart conversations!
