To my beloved Milla
I have always adopted cats in my life, they are beautiful animals that I respect very much. They are discreet, unpredictable and independent, they show their affection in different ways and that is why they are very often misinterpreted. A cat loves in its own way and it is this very selective affection that makes me appreciate it more. Some have been very affectionate, others more shy and grumpy, always wary of us humans, I do not blame them because we know to be very cruel and they feel it. One cat that I will always remember is Milla, a tiny stray kitten that was brought home to me by my nephews and I adopted her immediately. She was in a lot of pain and sick, kind of like me during that bad time. It was 2011 the year I separated from my husband and had a series of bad events that changed me.
Milla and I cured each other: while I cured her illnesses, she cured my suffering soul and that's why I remember her more than others, for the great good she has been for me. She didn't live long, I lost her after 2 and a half years when she fractured her paw and the surgery to reset it was fatal... I cried a lot, so much that even now when I think of her, I get a lump in my throat. I wrote her a poem, to fix the great love I feel for her even now, 8 years after her death...
' Sometimes I wonder who you are to live those silences of mine as if they were an intelligible cry. That little paw of yours touches my cheek but doesn't know that it is touching my heart and healing invisible wounds...! When you snuggle in bed with me, in the silence of what is not there, you do me good... much more good than any other human being.... a cure to an ache that words cannot explain, but in the silence say all that is there.... my beloved cat.'

This brought tears to my eyes too. What an adorable kitty, I wish she was with you now. I'm sure she is playing with her friends in heaven :))
Well I'm sure her Spirit is still here... I don't know why I feel her Thank you hun for your lovely presence 💓
Aww. 😢 I remembered my second dog, KC. She died when I was in college, but she was beloved by the family. Anyway, I'm sure Milla is in heaven now, playing with the others cats. 💚😻
I'm sure her Spirit is here with me... And I know I will see her again...
I'm thinking about my cattos while reading this. I don't know what to do if they leave me.
It happened so suddenly to me that it was a kind of shock. My friend had found Billo the week before Milla died. And that was the second gift life has done to me...
My heart broke knowing that you lost Milla so soon. :( But how good that you both healed each other while you were together.
She was a gift life gave to me. I'm sure of that...
Sorry to hear about Milla, amica :(
Thank you my love... ❣️
It's amazing what bond we make with our pets. Milla had experienced the best love for sure.
The vet kept telling me that she survived and healed from her diseases because I took good care of her. Her heart was not strong enough to get over the surgery... 😔
Thank (the) God(s) for animals!
Milla is really cute but I don't know if I can touch a cat because am always scared of animals
Why are you scared? They are so cute! Sometimes cats are afraid of humans cos they hurt them... But usually they are friendly and sweet
We are both scared of each other I can't touch them even though they look so cute
You should overcome your fear, they can give you much much love 💕
Ok I'll try
