Socrates was born in 480 BC in Athens to a sculptor family. His father's name was Saffroniskas and his mother's name was Finaret. His father was a sculptor and his mother was a nurse. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
However, according to many, he was a student of Archclaus as a child. Then from the age of twenty he devoted himself to the purpose of human life as the best creature of creation and to awaken the deeply hidden genius of the human soul. In order to develop the latent talents of the people, Socrates began to enlighten the youth of Athens through various arguments and discourses. He became an undisputed leader in the youth of Athens.
His popularity frightened the then Athenian rulers. So they mocked Socrates in the name of justice and sentenced him to death, and Hemlock executed him for drinking poison. Thus ended the life of Socrates, the greatest sage of Athens.
