Time to Ponder
I believe that a person is a steward of God's creation seems to be just a myth today. Because of human activities, the environment is facing destruction which in turn, puts the whole of humankind to its greater challenge to date, its survival.
Humans and their environment are expected to co-exist. The environment gives a person his/her necessities in life such as food, shelter, and all other things needed for him/her to survive, while the person in return, must take care of the environment and ensure the benefit of our future generation. But, human beings abused it by destructing the creation of our creator. We cause this extensive global warming, depletion and ecological unevenness and pollution. We are the one who brought this curse upon us. Who are we going to blame? no one but us.
Fortunately, there are still good people that commit their effort to preserve our environment. Thanks to the people who protected our nature and still raise awareness worldwide about the hope that we can still save our mother earth. If we created this problem upon us then we are also the one who can lift it and solve this problem we are facing.
Using social media, we can help environmental advocates spread the insights about how our mother earth is hurting. We created much damage that we don't think of its impact on us also. We are buying much stuff just to satisfy our wants without thinking about what would follow next.Or rather more appropriate to say we still lack knowledge about it.
You like to buy junk foods right? Chocolates? Sodas? famous biscuits? have you tried checking it's ingredients? One ingredient of that favourite foodies of yours contains the product of palm tree. The more you consume those products with famous brands in it, more rainforest is being destroyed and trees being cut down to be replaced into palm tree plantation as it is needed for more production of palm oils and more income to businessmen as well.Sample products that contains palm oil? Check the images below. 👇
Another is cosmetics, tubes and containers of creams don't deteriorate so if they are disposed of improperly, the user is one of the contributor to landfills and adds to the earth's waste dilemma.
Diapers, I seldom find moms who use cloth diaper nowadays. Most rely on disposable diapers.I admit I also use dosposable nappies but not all of the time. I preferred to use cloth diapers which was preused by my eldest to the next one. Where would those diapers go after disposal when it can't be burn because of it's gel property and burning destroys our ozone layer? It will be dumped to landfills and it would take up to 500 years before it will decompose. So if for instance a single baby uses 5-10 diapers a day multiplied by 30 days that would be a little mountain. So if 100 babies consumes diapers in a single location in one month that would create a big mountain of nappies ⛰️! It's also one of responsible of clogging of canals because when it absorbed enough water it bulge and floats.
One can think even a single way of eliminating these problem of ours. Please do even just one either by cutting your habit in buying and eating junk foods, chocolates and products that contains palm oil. Please try to buy foods that doesn't contribute to destruction of your planet. It may be hard looking on those packs one by one but let's start it one step at a time.
Use organic way of beautifying yourself or the natural way.
If ever you are using disposables, you can remove the gel and flush it in the toilet bowl first or compost in a backyard pit before disposing .You helped minimize the landfill a hundred fold if you try to practice it everyday.
I don't recommend using of cotton than using disposables, why? It is same harmful to the environment from the production and proccess of its manufacturing. But if you have it already, well, you can reuse it many times. It's just that we should know the process on right disposal of our kids diapers.Understood that busy moms don't have much time to wash cloth diapers in addition to everyday laundry so it's a solution to use disposable alternately not the whole 24hours. And please guide your kids at an early age how to go to the toilet during potty moments so they will comprehend the right way to do and don't need to use XXL sizes for infants for Petes sake.
Be an environmental advocate, so never get bored if you will be seeing my posts with repetitive nature and environmental issues.
I hAven't edited this yet there might be typos. I'll edit later.

I swear, the illegal sectors are just making things worse. If only the government lowered taxes and made legal documents more affordable and easier to get, then lesser illegal sectors, more environmental fund
