Hobby time...

Hi guys... This is @xzeon wishing everyone a very good morning... I'm sharing to you a basic recipe for what i baked today... A simple chiffon cake.

Im sure you can find the ingredients in your cupboards esp. when your hobby is baking. you dont need to bother on running on the grocery stores looking for specific ingredients with difficult terminologies. 🤣 Ingredients are: 2 Cups all purpose or cake flour 3 tbsp. Baking powder 1 cup white sugar for the batter ( i use less sugar in my preference) 1 Cup white sugar for the eggwhites 7 eggs 1 cup water 3/4 cups oil 2 tsp. Vanilla 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar Frosting: 1 can condensed milk 1 eggyolk (you can add its eggwhite to the separated eggwhites and eggyolk in the recipe so that it won't be wasted) Procedures: I will make it very simple... Preheat oven to atleast 320 degrees F. Measure the dry ingredients and you need to sift them first in a bowl (flour, baking powder, 1 cup sugar, and salt. Separate the eggwhites from the eggyolks in another bowl. (Be sure no droplets of eggyolk or water is mixed with the eggwhites as it will affect its performance later.) This time make a well and add the oil, eggyolks, vanilla and water in order with the dry ingredients. Set it aside. Do not beat.

Beat the eggwhite in a large bowl using an electric mixer. Then slowly add the white sugar and cream of tartar. (For me i used few drops of vinegar instead of cream of tartar). You can lessen the sugar if you want. Beat until stiff and wont fall when you turn the bowl upside down😁.

Now mix the dry ingrs. with the eggyolk batter until smooth. Then pour it on the eggwhites gradually. Do not beat! . U need to mix them using the cut and fold method with a rubber spatula. Pour on a greased pan then bake for 55 mins. Temp. Is 350 degrees F. Invert the pan when its cool. This is just an additional part. *For the frosting i used 1 can condensed milk and 1 eggyolk because the only thing available in my kitchen. In a low fire heat the pan and drop a m tablespoon butter in it. Melt then pour the condensed milk. Mix until lil bit sticky and combine the beaten eggyolk. Continue mixing, be sure it not to burn it😁. When the consistency becomes thick take it off from the fire and spread immediately on the cake because it will be difficult to spread when its cold🤣 it will become hard. Enjoy! THIS IS JUST MY RECIPE.YOU CAN EXPERIMENT ON YOUR OWN ACCORDING TO YOUR TASTE BUDS. KINDLY SUBSCRIBE IF YOU DIDN'T SUBSCRIBE ME YET. THIS HELPS ME TO BE MORE MOTIVATED. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
