The only thing we want in our lives is a Xoloitzcuintle, this breed of dog is an Aztec god in animal form. He is considered one of the oldest in the world.

The breed is more than 7 thousand years old, and beyond being man's best friend, the Xolotl represents our Nahuatl culture. According to our ancestors, the Xoloitzcuintles are in charge of carrying the dead in the first stage of the underworld, they were considered the spiritual guides "in the afterlife."

So if you are a lover of the Xólotl like us, this Day of the Dead make them part of your altar with a skull costume to give light to your beloved series.

Now we know why this dog breed was chosen in the movie Coco!

We are Xolos Ramirez. Xoloitzcuintle dog kennel located in Mexico City.
