Panchayat Review

Panchayat- a web series that was released on amazon prime on april 2020 is a very simple storyline but with some punching message and struggling of a young man that this generation can relate to. It also have comedy which are sublimely put on the plot making the audience laugh unlike some series that puts to much effort without any impact on the audience.

The series compromises of 8 episodes almost an hour long, though the audience wont feel it once gets hooked to the series. There is a chance for a new season.

The plot is a very simple one- the main character, an engineering student looking for job after graduation struggles to land his six figure dream job. In the mean time he applies for a job in a panchayat in rural place, though not paying well but keeps the wheel running. The story unfolds in the rural setting showcasing real day to day struggles but yet simple one in the rural india. The panchayat leader is woman but her husband unofficially conducts the panchayat. This husband is another main character of the series and bound to win audiences heart.

The 8 episodes is bound to entertain the audiences, and will keep the audience wanting for a second season. The series is a must watch if you have time and internet to kill.
