Bearing the brutal torture of police was easier to bear than the heartache he was suffering right now.
He was single, single since born xD, not that he wasn't attractive he was just too busy in his work life to start any relationship. He wanted to be financially stable enough to take care of a family before making any commitments and finally, after years of hard work he was financially independent and wanted to start his family and he already had someone in his heart, the girl who met by the incident and now occupied his heart and he wanted to marry.
He came t0 meet his sister living in a nearby city with her 3 kids and husband. His brother-in-law was a rich man but his source of income was rather ambiguous that's why he didn't like him that much but he can't just leave his sister because of a man he doesn't like. So he was in contact with her but rarely visited her home. But this time he wanted to discuss his marriage so he was there.
The kids were very excited to meet the uncle they have seen in video calls often but rarely in reality and he too was feeling happier than ever but who would have known this happiness wasn't going to last for long.
Police were at their door and none of them knew what they wanted. Maybe his sister knew something that's why she didn't let him open the door and brought all of them to a hidden room in their house but Police officers were impatient as well, they kicked the door open and entered their house. If one party had a hidden room in their house then the other ones were also trained cops, they soon found the room and kicked the door open.
"If cops really want to arrest you then there are no chances of escape, neither in the crowd and nor in this small room, where is your husband?" The leading officer interrogated his sister.
"My brother-in-law isn't at home for 3 days sir, why are you looking for him?" Before his sister could say anything he spoke up.
"He is involved in a fraud of selling someone's house and running away with money"
He turned around to look at his sister and raised his eyebrow, silently asking if she knew about it. She didn't respond and looked away and he sighed, so she knew it but was hiding from him
"Officer, let's say he was involved in this fraud but he isn't at home for days and we are unaware of his whereabouts so how can we help you in this situation?"
"Your sister will have to go to the police station for interrogation, she was aware of her husband' fraud"
"I swear sir, I just knew he did something against law but didn't know what it was", his sister responded
"But you'll still have to go or else your brother will have to be in custody till we arrest your husband"
"what? no! you can't arrest my brother for my husband's crime"
"We can and we will if you don't help us in arresting your husband"
Before his sister could say anything further he responded,
"Ok, don't bother my sister and I'll go with you"
"sure, but she can't leave this city till the case is over"
"she won't"
Cops arrested him and led him outside but one of them wasn't satisfied with this protocol for the culprit's family and handcuffed him, other cops looked at each other and then just ignored this behavior. He sighed and went out.
While sitting in the police van he accidentally noticed a girl standing on the neighbor's rooftop. Oh God no plz no. It's not her, right?
But it was her, the girl he wanted to marry. They just met three days ago on the bus when he came to this city and was impressed by her looks, attitude, and humbleness and after chatting with her he knew she is going to her relatives' house living near his sister's house. He met her yesterday in a shopping mall and offered to have coffee together which was accepted and then he asked her about her and if she is interested in a relationship with him.
He was always like this, loved to make choices in minutes without pondering much but he really felt something for this girl. But now that on the next day she has seen the man who proposed to her yesterday, handcuffed and arrested by cops there was 0% chance that she'll wait for him
He knew he'll be back, maybe in just a few hours or maybe in a few days but she won't be here anymore.
His first love story, 3 days and 2 nights long love story was already over. He heard the police tortures brutally but he doesn't think it will be more painful than this heartache
